I wonder where they've shown up? No one has reported them around here, not even rmoore456 who usually finds all the new stuff in Illinois. Save for the headsculpts, the Platoon figures seem to have the same body construction, weapons and accessories as the current "generic" Vietnam figures. Good thing they'll all blend in together!

The picture on the auction doesn't get close enough to the figures to see detail.
Interesting.
I hope they make it out to TRU soon.

It's a safe bet that if they are already on "evil-bay", then they are out. The wifey and I are going out this weekend and I'll keep the peepers peeled. The other Nam figs have shown up around here but in limited numbers, however I managed to get three of the four. :D

Found the new Platoon figures at 2 Walmarts in Wisconsin, Janesville and Beloit.
On the back of the cards they show the Huey and M48 as also available.

For some reason I was thinking these should be in TRU, but KSaint is saying that these were found at WM? WOW! I was thinking they were getting out of the 1/18 XD game... Strange.
I wonder if these will show up at TRU too?

Wasn't the 'rumor' started here that WM was out of the XD game?
I don't recall TKO saying anything that WM wasn't going to carry XD anymore...

I think the concern was that they were out of the non-figure XD game. Or at least the lack of armor, aircraft, etc.. has created that perception. Every WM in my AO except one still has figures along with the standard assortement of 1:144 and 1:32 items with the odd 1:6 weapons kit thrown in.

As always, time will tell. :)

XD is not out of WM. There seems to be a lacking interest in 1:18 planes at the moment and only at WM? I am not sure if this is a Buyer issue or a stock issue or if it even going to be an issue at all. For obvious reasons WM is better suited to sell smaller items but... There is nothing that indicates to a total loss of XD at WM.

The new Platoon figs are example of that. I am gald they are out! Now I gotta find some!
