Yep - the Mitch's Squitch is showing up at the WM's that don't have 8+ Migs sitting...

I just recently spotted the Tiger striped MIG's at a local WM here in Northern CA. Very surprised to see that plane here!

Moth...I probably saw this too late before you set out, but if Suffolk County is any indication, there's no new stuff (strangely, Middle Island WM just put out an original Starfighter and...dig this...a Sky Captain P-40!) Let us know how the search went, and any other LIers who can offer recon, please do...

I left earlyer than you posted, but thanks, I really apreciate it

I didnt find much, the Hempstead Turnpike had a Luftwaffe Starfighter, and a Smoke II, that was in a horribly crushed box, but the plane looked fine, they also had 3 Flying Undertaker Mustangs, and I think nearly all of the new figures, except 1 of the Dak (from the 2nd shipment).
North Jerusalem had the same 6 or 7 Bf-109 Nightfighters, and 1 Seeman Bf-109, nothing more.
I cant go to Centereach (way too far), so I cant comment on it.

Im not really familar with the area names, which is one the Suffolk Walmart? Do you have another name for it?

Thanx for the recon...

Re: Suffolk WM...actually, I was referring to 4 of the 5 WMs I hit regularly (Middle Island, Centereach, South Setauket, & Islandia)...there is also one out in Riverhead, but that's a hike for me (for you it might as well be the planet Pluto!) & I never had much luck there anyway---the toy department is tiny...PS more than half the Starfighter boxes I've seen have had the clear plastic separated from the cardboard box, but the planes always seem intact...

I haven't heard anything new on it since it was shown at the Toyfair.

The Pak-40 gun itself is out now - you may want to check an online store or perhaps a local Wal Mart 8) I agree the Pak-40 is a keeper and a very well-done piece!

Now as for the Hannomag with the Pak-40 mounted on it, that is another story...

Next time I'm in Jay, I'll have to pop in.. I usually try to hit those "out of the way" Walmarts as much as possible..

Of all of the OKC and surrounding areas, there are no D-Day figs to be found. Leave it to Wal-Mart to distribute to such a small town in Jay, OK to find the figs.

Mt Airy Maryland WM had two BIG stacks of XD P-51 Ridge Runners, JU-87 Stukas, and a couple of Bunker Hill Corsairs, all at $39.84

Looks like BCA has gotten in the first wave of the new 21c D-Day figures. Its kind of "after the fact" since most of us seem to have gotten what we want. Now at least the international buyers have a chance to get the new figures without resorting to ebay! Hopefully the second wave with the DAK figures won't be too far behind...

new figs

Post by digger » Mon Mar 12, 2007 3:24 pm

plenty of people could still use them, but let's hope that $9 each is only the price until another store gets them in. With no option to buy a complete set, that is really pricey.

Well, I just unpacked the Tuskeegee Mustang I picked up from Military Toy Shop. I had hesitated buying one of the new model P-51s because I had thought I have enough D models and I will wait until I can get a B model before I buy another Mustang. Well, I got my mits on the one Isaiah had unpaked and was on Kent's desk and I couldn't leave without it. Very nice detail and it was nice to have a pilot who matched the aircraft (remeber when we got a guy in PTO navy kit flying a RNAS Corsair?) Very cool and I am very pleased with the plane and service.

I found a new walmart here on Long Island, its in Farmingdale on Rt. 110. Its one of those big a$$ marts. The only XD they had were 12 D-day figs., 7 32X aircraft and 3 1:144 tanks.
I picked up 4 German figures, 2 Windorff and 2 Osternoh. When I got home I noticed the numberon the recept and below the bar code on the package was the same for the 2 different figures. Then I checked the rest of my D-day figs, they all have the same number US and German.
So when walmart restocks these items do they even know what figures are being restocked? :?

I have been to that Walmart only once, when I was at the AAM at Republic Airport, that was last year though.
