Dropped by the WM in Antioch, CA and they had 4 diecast Tigers and 6 FW190D's plus 1 M113 carrier. That was it! All at full price I might add. :D

Glen Ellyn IL Walmart has

5 m-5 Stuart (1:16) at $100 a shot (all OD).

5 1:18 m113a3 (OD) at full price
1 1:18 Tiger Winter at full price

Anybody in IL seen any aircraft in Walmarts?

Here in Peoria, the Super WalMart (really in East Peoria) had a bunch of FW-190 both kinds, and the WalMart on University has Spits, P-40s and of course Fw-190s.

"New" stukas in SC

Post by LeChat » Sat Dec 18, 2004 1:19 pm

Checking out the Goose Creek WalMart (just north of Charleston) I found in addition to Tiger Is and Shermans, the new M113s and the Yellow cowlinged Stukas with the red circle/black scottie insignia. I was intreaged but I can't hang all of the stukas I have already to justify buying another one.

I was in the Wal-Mart zoo today and was surprised to come across the Fw-190's in the 21st Century boxes and not the Motor Works boxes like the rest of the 1/18"s they had in stock. The 190's were the black and white spiralled propellers. They had plenty of Spit's,some Razorback's and a couple of P-40's.Everything still at $39.99 though.

Cool, I didn't know that planes were kicking out already with the 21st boxes at Walmart! Thanks for the heads up. You should see a lot more of this here in the future.......

21st Packaging

Teamski - I reported back several months ago on GP's site that I came across 21st boxed PPM P38's and 21st Boxed Korean Corsairs at "A" Walmart in my AO, and at discount price. I've since seen several P40's, the Land Camo Cobra, and even a Snake Stuka at the very same WM, however, I've only ever seen the 21st boxed Land Camo Cobra at other WM's.

We need to establish a permanent thread for Wal Mart, TRU, and other sightings of 21c and BBI products - like what was on the old board!

The Wal Marts in Fresno, Ca. did not have much of anything new this weekend. Mixed assortment of the FW-190s, a few diecast Bradleys in torn up boxes, some 1:6 Stuarts and a scattering of some new 32x Cold Steel Panzer IIIs and IVs. No P-47 Bubbletops or M113s (I think I got the last one a few weeks ago!)

The Hobbytown USA store has a very good selection, on the other hand, of XD products. This includes the new XD ME-109G (picked up one and am very impressed) as well as the Galland and Desert BF-109Es. There were also the winter Tiger & Panther and the brown XD Sherman. They 1 BBI F-16, 4 BBI P-51s and the new BBI Pavehawk. All for the regular small retailer price. I love that store!

Pleasanton, CA WM had 10 M113's (tan) 2 Galland ME-109's in 21st boxes and 4 Tropical ME-109's in 21st boxes. I couldn't resist so I got 1 each of the tropical and Galland ME-109's. :D

Nada, nothing, zilch. Even the AA Hueys are gone. I've all but given up, I only check if I happen to be in a store on another errand. Haven't made a trip just to check on XD in weeks. ON-line for me.

Wahoo!!!

I went shopping with my daughter for my wife and sure enough, the Dover Walmart had 3 Galland 109s and 2 Kepford Corsairs, all in 21st boxes!! The bright blue makes it soooo much easier to see them! Well, I had to get my 2 gallands, of course (I already had the Kepford from BCA). On inventory, they also had 5 candy stripe 190s and 3 D-Day Spitfires. A mandatory trip to the Camden store found zilch.......

The Corsairs are in the mix gentlemen.............

By the way, there are no swastikas in the box. :(

Well it's back to the hunt! So is the "12" on "blue" 12 black or blue????

Man, everytime I get ready to delve into some 1/48 Armour planes another XD variant is spotted! I'm never gonna get that huge 1/48 B-24 from Armour!! I did do some adolescent snooping & found my sis-in-law in Japan sent me a Marushin Oscar for Christmas...WOOHOO!!!!!! :D

Thanks for the head's up, immeww2.

I had no intentions of buying the Galland on-line, but having seen it in the store I bought it. This is a great hobby.

I too was hesitant in buying both the tropical and Galland versions on-line but when I saw them sitting there on the shelf in the bright blue 21st boxes, I just couldn't pass them up.

So True that there is just something about seeing that XD in the box just looking at you from the shelf....I'm glad 21st's good name is being recognized as an asset by WM.
I also hope we are not far from the time when XD has a little section just like Joes or Transformers like in the early days of tru. Something about being able to scoop up your figures, armor & A/C all in one stop!
