I DO NOT SEE A PROBLEM, 21ST HAS RELEASED THE PAK40 & NOW THE 251/7 IN RAPID ORDER, OF COURSE JUST ONE OF EACH, BUT I PLAN TO ASK THE TWO OWNERS OF EACH PIECE WHETHER I COULD HIRE THE PIECES FOR SAY A WEEK OR TWO AT A REASONABLE COST & I SUGGEST THE REST OF THE FORUM CONSIDER DOING THE SAME & THAT WAY WE WILL ALL GET A TURN AT HAVING THESE IN OUR COLLECTION BE THAT IT MAY ONLY BE A SHORT TIME. LOL.
I wouldn’t worry about it. Wal Mart is notorious for strange distribution. We will have plenty of these things soon enough. I hope.VMF115 wrote:I am really getting tired of looking and not seeing anything new from 21st. tahst not on store selves.
The Pak 40 and the Pioneer panzer wagon where going to be my first purchase in 1:18 armor….I just am getting tired not seeing anything from 21st what’s the problem????
Are they setting in some distribution center??????

I hope you guys are right. The Pionierpanzerwagen and the PAK-40 are very cool. Now we know deffinivly that the Pionierpanzerwagen has been released. I hope it will soon be easier to find.
I don't like the fact that there is no figure included, but thats the only thing I'd like to complain about. My favorite one of the prototype halftracks we've seen was the PAK-40 Hanomag. I hope this will show up soon, too.

@ armygroup1- Funny you would mention a PAK-40 rental program!!!!
I was thinking that might be kinda fun to do last week. But then I thought wait... for sure there would be somebody out there that would decide that it needed to become thier own!
I have been out of the loop for most of the week, I fully expected to come back and see at least one OTHER person with a Pak-40!
Like others have already guessed... We are just now stating to catch the very front end of these new items, Wal-Mart dist. is still moving SLOW... the 21st reports show that these new items should be on shelves now in mass qty. So should be just about anyday now. I strongly advise a couple more weeks of patience before turning to e-bay where you can expect to pay 2 to 3 times more than you should!
BTW- I have seen the Pioneerpanzerwagen in person and it is FAR cooler that you might think. The playability and diorama opportunity with the "bride" is very very cool. Even if this one isn't an army builder vehicle it is indeed a "must get at least one" for the collection.

?
Guys, I'm with Andrew on this - new armor makes me sleepy. What really gets me going is no armor. If we could just go back to no armor things would be exciting as all get out. And the Pak-40? BORING...

He is dreaming of finding a whole pile of new PAK-40's and a neverending credit line.

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

On the models themselves, however, they aparently got the German stenciling correct. Roy did alot of research to accurately render the warning labels on the German F-104 and the other WWII aircraft. I think someone else handles the box labeling - I've seen other errors not just with the German!
"If you fail to plan, you plan to fail."
I can confirm that the box text is handled in China at the factory during the fullfillment of orders. Spelling errors are very common for all kinds of companies. Those things happen. I used to work for a company that printed materials for all kinds of major corporations and you would be shocked to know how many times small errors like that escape corporations. Even those with numerous editors and elaborate approval processes.

OK, that would imply the case pack is all 3 which would be excellent. Perhaps all 4 with the M16tko211 wrote:ALSO I thought I should mention that a friend of mine just called me to say that a Wal Mart in my area just put out all 3 of the German Halftrack versions!!!! What's with TKO getting all the good luck? ThePak40 and now the halftracks! Not that I should be complaining... a lone halftrack was spotted in my area, so I'm assuming they can't be that far behind! Hopefully...
Perhaps the fourth item in the case is the Pak-40 itself, although the M-16 would be cool!

well
It wasn't packed in a case of one so there had to be more at some point....either a variety or more of the same. Let's remember, just because we don't recon something doesn't mean it doesn't exist...there are buyers out there who are not on this board...tmanthegreat wrote:What's with TKO getting all the good luck?
