The old school way of announcing far off release dates I think are a thing of the past.
These 2 projects are moving along very nicely according to 21st HQ. My bet is late July early August
Sounds like the same release timeframe as with the Avenger. The Migs and F-86s better not push the Avengers back any further - 21c has to keep its priorities and not get distracted

Pics of the proto Mig pilot are up on A21. He doesn't look as Terminator-esque as the Saber pilot.
I note that he seems to have a caucasian face rather than an asian one...personally i would have made him with his goggles down so he could have been either...
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

Very Nice articulation.

They managed the to get the above the knee swivel and ball/socket shoulders while not making the figure appear to broad.
I really can't wait for the next wave of new 21C figures as the last few pilots have been so good.

Nice looking pilot for a great looking model. Bring on the MIG-15.

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game.

That's true, but Russians also flew Migs in Korea as well so its still accurate.

The S1 MiG was flown by Evegeny Pepyleyev so the pilot is very accurate. Until they release a bird flown by an asian they are in good shape with the pilot as is.

I do remember Roy telling me that the pilot was modeled to be a Russian pilot. So it adds up. I am really anxious to see both the Sabre and the Mig pilots in full paint!

Mig 15 pilot picture updates today. Being that it's June 6 i would have expected them to announce an XD Higgins boat today. But alas, no..

Something about the pilot seems odd. Not sure if its the waste, or the billowing pants. But really nice paint apps, and love the photo with the gas mask. Really can't wait to see the MiG
