Agreed. October seems questionable, unless they are going to start shipping soon after a paint master is done. Where the heck is the dang paint master?

make me wonder
whats up doc....

For a plane that is right around the corner, I'm surprised we haven't seen any photos of the finished product or that some retailers have not gotten an "advance sample" of the plane.

Here's the model which will be released November. IMHO, the nose gear still looks too small.

AKI:
Thanks for the photo. The F-14's weathering looks great...but alas, there are no pilots.
November?...better late than never.

That will be one heck of a plane. Is that a photo of an actual production version?
Pilots are not my worry as I've already customized a couple passable ones that will suit my needs just fine. I think JSI chose an awesome paint scheme for the first F-14 and I could not have asked for better!
No use complaining about it at this point - I'll wait until after I get one and have an accurate assessment of it

Aki, where did you get these pictures? Are they legit? If so, this will be one amazing 1:18 scale aircraft!!

Legit? I believe it'll be revealed at the show in Japan which will be held in the first weekend of the coming Oct.

The color should be "radome tan" though its hard to tell in the photo.

That is amazing, I'm glad I've got one on order from Military Toy Shop. If this is what they can achieve on an F-14, I just wonder what their F-4 would look like and yes....the A-10 as well...
By the way a little off- topic- Aki- who's that girl in your avatar, I keep looking at the Tomcat but I'm so drawn to her image as well? Beautiful on both counts mate...

You're talking about my Hailey? I'll hook you up with her if you send me the Tomcat!

Great photos, I'm glad to see this coming along. I'm real happy with the hi-viz choice, it makes a nice contrast with the F-16 and F-18.
