Not going to happen unless manufacturer is dumping inventory to all vendors.

It's a bit of a problem really, because I have low stock and thus no need or motivation to liquidate them, and meanwhile I definitely won't be buying any more at regular wholesale price while other vendor(s) are dumping them by the hundreds at $10 each, suggesting that they got them on the cheap to begin with.

When I talked to MD, they said they were trying to get even more, but they would probably not be quite as cheap...if they could get them.

My first thoughts were that the monkey might be getting of the 1:18th market. Some of those prices on this scale are the lowest I've ever seen.
Might be Manufacturer or who ever owns them now. selling off what ever they have. These times are like no other...

Lets Hope Things get Better,

I was watching mine on Fed Ex's tracking system and noticed it got delayed to tomorrow, which I assume is due to ice and snow butchering the route here. I've learned to hate winter this year because of work.

This set first turned up about 4 years ago as a preorder item $150 at a place called Small Blue Planet. I paid $220 inc shipping to Australia, waited 4 months for a release and than found this company was having a closing down sale and despite saying by e-mail they would send my money back while they were still trading, they simply closed up shop and stopped replying to me, so i am dark on that outfit to say the least. I have now 6 sets from Smalljoes and 4 sets from Monkey Depot.

All of these sets we sold/are selling are numbered with a limited edition holographic sticker, which is located on the front of the box (sticker not shown in web site photography).

I'm satisifed that they did not.

Most likely, excess warehouse stock was simply dumped to a liquidator or one or more online stores, and at prices that low you can rest assured they would not bother to break open the cases to put ltd. edition stickers on them.

Opened the lid on my set to have a look.

I can definitely see possibilities for some custom figures.

The one guy with the black hair grimacing would probably make a nice zombie with just some face paint.

I'l bet someone could make a Kroenen from Hellboy out of another. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... Shot_1.jpg

Received mine today as well and a 21st Me-262. I had not picked one up Because I had the nightfighter and all of Admiral's offerings but at this price I just had to get one. Kudos to Monkey Depot's service and shipping.

Gotta give a big thumbs up to MD for the insane prices and superfast shipping on these. I ordered a bunch of stuff and it was all delivered in excellent shape on Friday!

As far as the SS sets go, I've only opened one of mine and (as they mentioned on the MD order page) the helmets are definitely a bit of a mess though it looks more like production/molding flaws than heat damage. Maybe these sets were surplus that didn't meet full QC and as such weren't numbered and were available so cheap. Even so, it's a steal at $10 and still a great deal for the $20 they have them at now.
