I did post it up in the AO recon thread for you and KTR. I found the full set at the Puyallup South Hill Target which wiped them out, nada at the Tacoma Target and took the only remaining pea-camo figure at the Lakewood Target. This left I think five US and two feldgrau figures at the Lakewood store. Strike now and you may be able to grab them. No vehicles anywhere though. Good hunting, these are well worth the trouble.

Nien on die next Target :(
Looks like we may not see them down here for a long, long time it seems  I may have to sell some custom modern figures on Evil bay to get some of these WWII figures. I'd rather trade, but I don't think you can do that on Evil bay  I did however, clean the second Target out of all of their WWII closeouts in BBI and also all of their modern FOV figures. Someday I hope to find someone to trade with ;) Da General

You're right. Its a shame that some members would rather make a buck or two on ebay rather than help a fellow member out. Luckily there are some great guys here who will help a brother out and pick some up for you. I've had a few great folks pick up items for me when I couldnt find them here in Newport News, VA area. If I find them before you, I'll give you a shout. (still nothing here)

I found 6 of the FOV 1/18 WWII guys at Target, and picked em all up. I got 3 germans and 3 americans. I took some pictures outside3 with them today, and ill have the pictures up by tonight. I also found a Vietnam guy at Toys R us, and I must say the new figures are amzing!

>>> Yeah , I always try to do the "good deed" thing. ... Part of the problem is though , is that these are still new , and everybody is clambering for them now - - and especially the fact that most members are'nt finding ( full-sets ) either.

Some pics of these guys, kneeling, and sitting would be great! Can they sit upright? Or do they do the 21C SLANT SIT?

The cool thing about these new FOV guys, is that they can sit up right. They are very poseable, and the Detail in the Weapons, and the uniforms and insignia is amazing!! The MG42 is my favorite part about the new german figures. I mean the detail in it is incredible, and that goes with the Kar 98, luger, and MP40. Same with all the allied weapons. Unfortunetly, I could get any really detailed shots of the guys, so imgonna use a different camera, and ill put them in different positions, and ill also take detailed pics of the insignias, and weapons. Hopefully tonight, or tommorwo afternoon.

Ive seen some members take pics of their fov figs. So i decided to take pics of some of mine. Heres the first one:

Like migmadmavis said these figures have great articulation.
Image

Ive only got 5 and im looking for the other one, heres a pic of them all lined up.
Image

Sorry if the pics arent that perfect but just wanted to show the great articulation in these figures. Their legs are really easy to move and are not as hard to set up. Migmadmavis i cant wait to see yours 8)

Yes, nice pics, V2!
Thanks for showing one sitting down. If you could do more like that-sitting-side view pics of sitting, walking, more than just the usual 'line-up' that everyone's been doing would be great as my area Targets have SQUAT!!

I may be building some big Armies, but would not want to make $$$ on our members. There are some great folks here and helping out is always nice ;) Besides, I always make it worth the while 8) Da General

For anyone that needs them, make a post in the buy/sell/trade section before going to ebay. Right now it seems like there are several people in need, but no one is posting there for help.

I'd love to post for help finding these.
But I think I have to be a member here for 6 months before I can post in the buy, sell and trade forum :( Please correct me if I'm wrong at least I've tried to be a good member with all of my posting and sharing of ideas and all, and not just someone looking to sell or be a bad trader and such  And I've only been offically a member for about 4 months with trying to get online for an extra month. But when I get the ok to post in there, I got alot of goodies, extras and modern stuff to sell/trade ;) Just the 1:18 WWII stuff for me is what I keep :) Da General

The legs do bend, both where they join the waist and at the knee joint. The boot also rotates. They don't have that twisting articulation in the thighs like the 21c figures. The arm articulation is the same. The waist also rotates as does the head. As V2 Man showed in the pictures above, the FOV Germans sit much better than the new 21c figures. That in itself is nice as you can make some better poses and have more realistic looking tank riders and halftrack passengers. The other nice thing is that the figures do not have the horrible "sunburned" appearance like most of the 21c figures, and the uniforms have a subtle weathering. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the FOV offerings 8)

Don't worry, it is really only week one. The modern guys basically showed up everywhere in abundance after about a month, so you should be ok. :D

You're right, digger...gotta be patient...sigh...also not going to lose any sleep on it or spend time searching for them. If I go into a Target and they have some, I'll pick some up...or just wait for the online stores to get 'em....

I hope you guys are right.
But I dunno, with seeing the Tiger supply dry up almost as soon as they appeared makes me wonder. And then there is the PC question too. Is it not PC(political correctness) to carry WWII German items. I've snapped up some figures on Evil bay so at least I have a set in case the bottom drops out, but will hold off on aquiring masses until and if they appear in stores. A few Shermies would be nice too for the good guys in the collection ;) Da General
