Does it really matter?

They put it up and 2 years later it comes out.

By the time it hits the shelves it's who gives a hoot.

Maybe TKO or Roy had something else that came up at the last min, and could not write a review or take the pics at the pics time..
Give it some time guys and gals, soon we will have them.
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!

If it was 21st's first time at this type of ploy I'd worry.

Don't fret, fellas. You know the big scoop for 1:18th?
The announcement of the much anticipated, highly-demanded S2-S9 paint schemes of the
M-17 trailer!
And there's probably gonna be a minor announcement about items that people don't really care for, like the 88, or the Kingtiger. Silly unimportant things like that.

Or maybe TKO got really, really drunk and hung over on sunday and just forgot.
Or maybe his Wife said lets go to Napa Valley and his whole weekend is shot to hell...
or both

Why the delay? I been running from the angry mob that have burned down my house!
You guys are really funny! It has been fun to read your posts about the delay and the reasons behind it. The real reason is a little less exciting I am afraid. The huge volume of new product both in development and in production needed a lot of attention and kept 21C from getting me the promised news. I was in a holding pattern. The logjam has been apparently cleared and more is news is being preparred as we speak. -Hold off the lynch mob!
Take a look at the finished platoon figs on AREA-21!
