Oh I agree 100%. Its just that I've seen so many jerks get off easy after screwing people over on the net that I tend to believe it when I see it. It does sound like you have some competent law enforcement working on the case so hopefully he will get whats coming to him.

Let's keep our fingers crossed. I sent Sgt Taylor about thirty emails from this guy (both parts of the scam and taunts) as well as a list I had compiled of which aliases and addresses went with which email addresses, and (where I had the info) what had happened with each. It looks as if there are still some victims out there who were cheated and never knew they were part of the same scam.

To those people: If you were cheated by this guy and still have not talked to Sgt Taylor, do so now! The more people, the more charges, right? And the stiffer the penalty! So get after it, guys. He's on the ropes. Don't let up now. Don't let him think "At least ________ never came forward.".

It might be interesting to contact E-bay to find out what kind of reputation he had if he was ever on there.
While I understand in theory, all you'd need to do is read a few of the abusive, insulting, sexually graphic emails he has sent us and your sympathy would wane considerably. I might feel the same way as you if I had not been greeted by this filth about me and my wife in my inbox on a regular basis. I say, throw the book at him!

You are right I have never been subject to this little mans taunts and criminal activity

I agree with, and no one should have been put through the torture that he put you guy through. In fact why in the life of me would some one steel and then taunt the very same people he ripped off is beyond me. I do think that the justice system will make him pay for his crimes. Getting ripped off is one thing but being put through mental anguish after getting ripped off is another thing. Gods speed a swift and just punishment

I guess I am lucky and I hope we never have some one of his type on this forum again.

A crook, creep, and far worse. And hopefully some guy named Bubba will soon call him "Bubba's little prison b--ch". I was fortunate enough never to get ripped off by him, but I know the type, and I used to run an electronics store in that area (Anderson), with a "sister" store in Richmond.

He WAS "Pathfinder" and "Audie Murphy". I think that there was a couple of more names that he used but I do not recall the names.

This is for everybody who is wondering where we are with the "Bob Hughes" case. I just received this from Sgt. Taylor.

[Working through the computer. If people remember being contacted by Bob
and Aliases, they should come forward, at least with the email address in
which they were contacted at so that I may search for emails to them from
"Bob".]

No, this goes way back. Not worth re-living. If you have plenty of time on your hands and need to know you can scroll back a ways in some of the older threads. Sorry, no need for salt in wounds.

I can't wait for the official word on this. I think that we should have a party for each region. 8)

Great idea. I wish that I would've thought of that...it's still early.

Nothing yet. I traded emails with Sgt. Taylor yesterday. He said that we'll have some news next week. He did write that "they found and seized a ton of 1/18 stuff from Bob's residence". I will post any info when I receive it.
