toyktdlgh,
They had 1 MIG left in Florence. Up high on the shelf in the aisle over from where they put the XD items at near electronics. That was a couple of days ago.
I didn't know you were looking or I would have pm'ed you with the info.

It was just a temporary hijack. :D

Now all you locals be sure to give a holler if a PAK-40 shows up in the Tri-state.
Those things look great.

Oh come on guys! Someone has had to find one by now (PAK 40)!

I have been to six WM in the last 2 days and the pikins are slim. Nothing but a few leftover 1:18 figures, a couple of hummers, one US halftrack and one German. One Walmart had 3 of the Mustangs and one had 4 of the 109-6. Some 1:32 stuff, but no 1:18 PAK 40!

Is this a figment of my imagination? Maybe just a dream! I'll wake up and find out there never was a PAK 40. Those pics were not real, or were they?
Someone, please confirm another find!!!! :?

I just scanned 5 of the six Wal Marts in my area today, officially looking for the Pak-40. (I mean, afterall, it didn't appear on the east coast, so there is some hope of finding it in the west...) However I didn't find anything. Among a bunch of old restocks, however, I did unexpectedly stumble across 4 of the S2 Mig-15s with the Chinese "tiger-stripe" cammo at one store, so the search wasn't a total bust 8)

Looks very cool, I know there were mixed reviews for this one but it is a no-brainer imo...a little quirky but a must have!

Holy Crap  Reedley Ca is a very podunk town just outside of mine! I wonder if he found it at a Fresno Wal Mart (as there's no WM in Reedley), but I'm thinking he was more likely further afield at Dinuba (30+ miles from me) and a little closer to him. I wonder what else comes in its assortment? In the 5 stores I checked today, I most certainly did not see that! But at least it landed close to home.

Well, I contacted the eBay seller with the Pioneerwagon to find out where he got it, given that he lives in a small community near mine. He responded and told me the store and that his wife found it (on the south side of Fresno). This is ironic, as it is one I check on a regular basis and its stock hasn't changed! I was at the store Monday, Friday and today and everything - XD related - has stayed the same :?

In past armor releases, there is usually enough of a selection per caseload that some usually gets left over. This leads me to believe that the pioneerwagon was a random find and that the seller (or rather his wife) was in the right place at the right time - very much like TKO's Pak-40. I am excited about this release, not so much for the vehicle, but for what else might tag along with it. I imagine that these will show up in force eventually as the holidays draw nearer, so I can wait (and it looks like they'll show up first in the west  )
