I've been thinking the same thing, aferguson. I've been checking ebay at least once a day.

Managed to get 4 of these, full well knowing that there may be persons "in need" and I'll be able to sell off 2 for what I was charged, plus "actual shipping" no fluff, however I'll ask that only those in the US contact me as the past 2 items I've sent abroad (one to UK and one to Austrailia) have turned up missing and it's a giant headache dealing with lost packages abroad as some of you may know.

Have yet to remove one from box, but will be doing so in the next couple of days, but from the looks, it appears to be a very nice piece, now if I just had a Phantom to chase it around :-)

I have been looking for the MIG-15 model here. No luck, but I really look forward to finding one. :D

Sounds like these were a midwest-first release. This doesn't surprise me as the Avengers and new 32x planes were a west coast-first release. I wonder where the F-86s will first show?

I talked with the manager at the Wal-Mart near me and he stated that the Mig-15 is in …..but its in the back….just like the avenger was..I have idea how long it will take for them to put it out but the store manager said that it they will go through the pallets to look for them. I want two of them :D

Not a problem

Even if the front slats don’t work on the 21st f-86 the amount of detailed gun doors, landing gear, seat belts, the depth of the rear jet engine and the turbine fan blades will make up for the lack of slats. Imho

Another Walmart this morning, AND NO MIGS    !!!!!!

Tried to calm my frazzled nerves and bought a 1:144 ME262. Kinda cool, but just doesn't satisfy my need for a 1/18 fix.

The 21st Century version is an F-86F version, this version of the real plane did not have leading edge slats like the F-86E which the Admiral version is fashioned after.

Did an extensive recon this weekend of about 6 WM here in Dallas/Ft. Worth area and no Mig-15s. Found 4 Avengers and saw serveral 21st items (1/32 armor) on discount but no Mig.

Lucky dog! Well, hopefully this is like when Walmarts got the Halftracks and Walkers. San Antonio had them show up, then Tucson got them a few days later. At least, I hope so.

Found 4 Migs at one WM in Houston today. Picked up one for myself. I went to 4 different stores.

These are deffinitely a mid-west first release and based on the numbers finding them in that area, it seems like they're getting better coverage than even the Avenger. I've got one coming from another boardmember, so I'm not going to waste time and gas searching for these planes in my area

I inquired about that with him - he said he found only the one and it was in a pretty beat up box. He figured it was one of those random distribution flukes, which do occur from time to time. There have been no further reports from other Ca members - I haven't seen them and I've covered the Wal Marts in my AO extensively within the past few days. For comparison, when the Avenger showed up, people were finding them all over northern and southern Ca. But yeah, the first Mig sighting was in Ca!

Can someone post some pictures of the new MIG-15 model assembled? I would like to see some close up shots of it. I am still looking, but have not seen them here yet. :o

If anyone can find an extra one I'd be glad to pay you for your trouble if you send it to me. I'm tired of stalking Walmarts for new product.
