If they all went out of business this summer, my hope for the last thing actually available for sale would be for a Doolittle-marked B-25.
Moving on from that are the pieces needed to realize the importance of naval aviation - Wildcat and Hellcat, even recognizing the lack of visual flair involved in most of them.
From that, historical importance should recognize the Russian involvement in WWII, starting with the lend-lease aircraft like the P-39 and extending into the Russian warbirds.

Re: Well....
I couldn't agree more. All of the vehicles are wonderful, but I've really been racking my brain for a way to get a big ~1:18 bridge ever since 21st showed theirs many moons ago. Capturing or destroying bridges was such a big part of ETO, and mostly it would just make a great centerpiece for any XD display.lablksmith wrote:Well believe it are not I would be very very happy of 21st would finally produce the bridge and the large bombed government building they pictured some time ago.
bridges
If you want bridges and are willing to pay, Pola makes some very nice specimens that work fine with XD. They are a bit underscale but still very cool. A scale bridge would be pretty big and somewhat boring in some people's mind (not mine) so I wouldn't hold out hope for 21C, AT or bbi to make a bridge. Your best bet is a used G scale Viaduct, Suspension, Trestle or Arch bridge.

pola
The stuff is dangerous!
I can't put my webshots pics into these posts but I have these pics of some custom figs I did in my photobucket album. You can't see the whole building (huge) but you can see the scale is passable:

Hmmm, no order, and not a complete list.
Sturmtiger, with working loading crane.
Mig-29
Su-37 Super Flanker
Me-163 Komet, carriage and tow vehicle optional
Mi-24 D, in sand/stone/sky colors, from the Afghan War. I wouldn't be opposed to the glazed nose A or Hind F with 30mm cannon model either.
Merkava Mk. 3B

bbi guys
Yes, they come apart very easily. A little hot water if you are nervous but elbow grease is usually enough. Breaking them at the waist is key also for switching the new belts which once they come apart are not going back together.
Those figs are combinations of Dragon and bbi guys. The 1st ID helmets are from 21C.

Yup, all Pola/Piko. I also have this loco shed which is a monster:

They may be finding a new home soon because my apartment is getting scary.
