By 2020 we will be owned by the Chinese and WE will be the ones making the SBD...however we will not be able to afford to buy them since they will be sold to rich middle class Chinese.. the only difference will be Big huge fat finger prints....
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

That would be funny....if it weren't a real possibilityVMF115 wrote:By 2020 we will be owned by the Chinese and WE will be the ones making the SBD...however we will not be able to afford to buy them since they will be sold to rich middle class Chinese.. the only difference will be Big huge fat finger prints....

Unfortunately that may not be too far off the mark.
On a related story, just opened up my Hobby Master 1/32 SBD Dauntless.
The Flying Mule had a very limited time blowout of this particular model.Normally $150,but on sale for only $50.
Pre war colours, but for $50.Too good to pass up.
A great model, with tons of details, and great paint.
