As for the 1:32 FW-190, there are now three versions "White 1," "Red 3," and "Black 1." The first two have been avaliable at Wal Mart, and all three will arrive at the online retailers next week.
I was talking about the 1/18 XD Fw-190...
I sure wished they would hurry up with the Black 1 and Black/Blue 12 32x versions though..
I am also excited about the 3 new 32x planes coming soon...

ITS A GREAT TIME TO BE HERE (and collecting 32x)!!!!!!

i wish they did all the planes in 1/32 that they do in 1/18 and visi/versa.
i hang the 1/32 high, close to ceiling with gear retracted and 1/18 lower so it looks like the 1/32s are flying top cover

Both WM's here in Dover are chocked full of all of the 1:18 vehicles, 1:32 dios, figures and vehicles. Both had Japanese and bob as well. I picked up the only 1.5t truck. I hope to find another! I am really surprised to see such a turnout!!

Thanks Aaron! I got back yesterday. It's really, really nice to be back to civilzation. 4 months is long enough for me! I'm sure it's not the last, unfortunately :(.

Oh well! Gotta enjoy life while it's hot! :D

Picked up the Dodge Weapons Carrier truck in Auburn NY today. Not a piece I'd had much interest in, but for $22.74 I just couldn't pass it up!

Stopped at a Wal Mart last night looking for S2 marines. But I found the 1/6 scale Sahara jeep. 3 "Yamoto" figures. They had 4 pegs allocated to the XD figures but all were empty except for the Yamotos.

What really caught my eye was the German half track, the base color looked to be German grey, instead of the dark yellow. And the M41 Walker Bulldog tank with OD paint and a Vietnamese figure in the loaders hatch. The picture on the box depicted the winterized version. The OD paint is a little glossy and the exhaust outlets/tail pipes are also OD unlike the original which were painted brown/rust color.

Have I stumbled across something rare?
Has this tank/figure combo been released before?
Needless to say I bought it. As a collector I felt it was my duty. :D

Not a rare combo---there is a thread on this elsewhere. But, it is still cool nonetheless.

Walmart snagged me again with vehicles at $22.74. In Auburn NY again (I usually get there for work every few weeks), picked up a US Halftrack (Christmas gift for my son - I'm happy with my S1 from a few years ago) plus the desert Humvee. The desert Humvee is another one of those I hadn't had much interest in (makes it my 5th Humvee variant!), but at the price how could I not get it for Iraq set ups?

Has anyone else noticed that there are two types of Halftracks out right now? The one I got for my son was just OD with a little brown sprayed on to look dirty. Figure is one of the US Paratroopers from a couple of years ago.

Then of course there was the winter version, which includes the S1 figure that I think it originally came with. They both look pretty good - kind of like the dirty one better, though. Have to see what it looks like out of the box (in a few months!).

A year ago all these figures would be mine, but the new, less devoted to toys me feels inclined to share:

Someone give these guys a proud home and remember GPXD is where you got the tip

Picked up a bunch of Shermans and halftracks for $15.00 each on sale today.
Not a bad price. This was the only store out of about 10 that ever has anything marked down. It's a long way from home but it's worth the drive. 8)

Such a deal, Kamikaze! The only markdowns I've ever seen around here for XD have been at $25 at best, sometimes for items in bashed up boxes and sometimes for items that looked OK all around. And actually, several times I've found XD on the clearance shelves with the special red discount price stickers on them, but with the "clearance" sticker price at no discount at all. Deviousness or stupidity? Who knows!

On a somewhat different topic, did see one Panzer IV at the WM in Penfield/Webster yesterday. Gun barrel end was snapped off and loose in the box. I'm still holding out for the skirted version to be released in the States.

The closest Wally to me is in Woodbridge, NJ. Most of the time I never see any 21C stuff but today I actually found one. Of course it was the 1/6 RC Hummer and the shelf was marked $199.99.

Still no 1/18 and the Hummer is too big to drag around to a price checker.

FINALLY found 1/18 figures at a WM.

I've moved to Jacksonville, AR, and the WM just outside the AFB gate had a pretty good selection, including a full selection of Marines and Japanese troops, and even a few vehicles. I saw the M41 and one German tank.

A/C have been pretty easy to find around here, but the figures have been impossible.

Interestingly enough, I went back to get a couple of M41s for my VN dios (thinking about converting one to a M42 Duster, since those DID see alot of US combat use.

But, the ones at my WM were the winter ones, with a US tanker crewman.

There were two others up on the top shelf, but I couldn't get anyone to get them down for me to check them out.

I also saw a German half-track on the top shelf.

I found nearly a case load of the new S2 Marines, 3 "eagleston" P-47s, and a "Black 12" FW-190 at the Fresno Wal Mart at Palm & Herndon, which traditionally has had the worst XD selection.

The Fresno Wal Mart on the west end of Shaw ave. finally got in the Desert Hummers, WC-57 Command Cars and WC-63 Trucks (2 of each). That kind of pissed me off, as I broke down and bought a Desert Hummer from Hobbytown about a month ago when I got tired of waiting for them to show up at Wal Mart, and paid at least $10 more for it! At least I helped a local business...

The Allen Road Walmart in Peoria, Illinois got the Coed Sherman, gray German Halftrack and the green Walker Bulldog with VN figure. Also restocked the Japanese.

My local Wal-Mart has one Panzer IV, but I'm holding out for the next one so I can look up its "skirts." The tank, that is!

Found some repaints of the BoB figures at the Washington, Illinois Walmart. The two Germans in overcoats now have plain field gray helmets. Also two Panzer crewman in winter suits. One in the fall SS camo and the other in all gray. They also had more of the US BoB figures. The backing cards on the new figures are the same color as the Marines and the Japanese.

Cool. Some new stuff. The 21C pegs have been getting a little stale - need some new life on them.

Great - some new German tankers! I'll have to keep an eye out, but the stores in my AO never got the BoB stuff.
