Had a chance to check out the WM in East Syracuse in my travels today.
Nothing new there, but picked up a West German F-104G at $25 clearance. Had not planned on this repaint, but for $27, including tax, how could I not? Now I have all 3 versions of the F-104.

The only smoke II's I've seen; 3 in the german boxes at Hobbytown- 65.00 or wait till walmart.

Out of the blue, a USAF F-104 in a pristine box at a Marietta Walmart, must have been in back under a million snoop green cadillacs and the assinine skeleton on the motorcycle pieces.

Absolutely no Avengers anywhere to be found in the metro area...

Desperately waiting on the 1/32nd Stukas, Corsairs, and anything new including repaints.

Mikeg, they're $35 at BCA - even with shipping not bad. :D
They actually have some great prices going right now - Mustangs are $35, Stuka is $35, sets of 6 figs are $30 and other items are reduced a bit too.

Your correct, I do frequent the bca site frequently and have seen the sales prices. Just on sheer principle, I would like to see these items on the local shelves, therefore I bitch.

Coincidentally, I just received a Jolly F-86 from BCA at their sale price.
I can't get the fuel tanks to latch on, one of the landing gear cover pins broke, the wing assembly doesn't want to tighten down completely without stripping out. I'll make do with it- no use to harass Jason like some jilted debutante. My wife saw the plane and went off last night.

At least I don't have issues or anything.

No matter where you get the product, Admiral Toys seems to stand behind the product they make. I would pm Jason on it and see what he can do for you. It's not like it's a minor defect in the paint or something little like that. It sounds like you got a lemon.

Shouldn't he contact AT customer service before PMing Jason? We really shouldn't scare away the company reps by using this forum as our CS avenue..

Digger,
Yes, that would be a better course of action contacting Admiral Customer Service...
Don't you get tired of being right?

A minor script change is in order-

On the Jolly Roger F-86, I realized the fuel tanks slide to the front to lock in, super glue fixed one of the landing gear anchor pins, and the wing assy screws down tightly after I screwed em into the body without the wings a couple of times.

In essence, the plane is not about to be sent back to BCA, all is well.

I am surprised that the Smoke II F-104s and Undertaker Mustangs are just gathering dust here... :?

I just picked up a Hardtop Hummer on extreme discount - $1.00! This is only the second Wal Mart discount of any XD product that I've ever come across in my area, the other being a non-RC M113 for $10 a couple years ago. There weren't any other vehicles there, otherwise I'd have gotten more!

Nice deal, Tman!

I like when Wally gets out it's discount stickers and slaps them on the XD!

The original BoB I tankers and drivers look just sad compared to the BoB II versions of the same with the swappable heads, weapons, gear, etc...

We have one WM here that has about 15 each (and nothing else) on the pegs, still full price, been there for probably six months.

Maybe they know about some big incoming secret Sherman/WC shipment..? Could be that they rotate their inventory so slowly that actual NISB COED Shermans and WC's might really show up.. lol :-D

The last great deal I got was when my local WM kicked out $10 Air Cav Hueys! That was fun fitting them all in my car, hehehehe.....

We have the new 32x SAAF paint P-40, and the Med. splinter camo Stuka here south of Dayton. As well, there is a healthy stock of Avengers. Unfortunately, I have yet to run into a Mig--PM to find out which one

I found about 3 dozen 1/144 tanks on sale for $1.50  and 4 1/18th Humve's at $19.00. this was at the Uniondale walmart. The rest was full price... ME-109 night fighters and Seaman 109's. I have found some BOB figures at another walmart, I now have a few Max Rode figures,Wolff- long coat closed, Schuster-long coat open and 4 Kendzai figures. This last figures head sculpt has got to be one of the....... well lets just say I don't like it. I think 21st should mix in some of the USMC heads into the figure line 'cause they have more expression and realism then most of the other sculpts. Thats just me, Good hunting Guy's!

Cool! Thanks for the heads-up. I have yet to see any in Broward. I just received mine from BadCat though. It comes out to about the same price and I don't have to drive around. :D
