Edit: In retrospect, I think I'll wait for the Woofer to release his road wheel kit. In addition to being constructed with the 21C Tiger in mind, the kit should contain the correct number of wheels.

SCORE!

Got the Abrams and Bradley (woodland) and 12 Target exclusive Team Bravo figs (mixed, 1 each from Army & Marines) from my Target on Othello Avenue (San Diego), near Convoy St.

Abrams went for $29.99, the Bradley for $24.99 and $4.99 for each figure.

* After reading Yoxford's post about the Tiger I being discontinued till next Fall in '08 , I decided to go down to my local T@RGET to see if they actually had any on the shelf.

* Well , they did. * :shock: ... 3 in fact. ... So I bought all of them. * 8) ... They did'nt have any of the WWII figures , U.S. or German. * Figures !

* and I must say , that after seeing it myself , IT LOOKS PRETTY DAMN GOOD ! ... to me. * 8)

I found the new FOV Tiger today at one of my local Target stores. It looked tempting, very tempting, and I spent a good 10 minutes standing there in the aisle looking it over. Ultimately, I decided to pass. I will say the FOV Tiger did look very good in person. The colors were nice and flat and the zimmermit coating looked fantastic. Still, I like my 21c Tiger with the interior and all the opening hatches better

I picked up a FOV 1/18th scale Abrams tank today at Target. Great looking tank, I am glad I found one.

If FOV does stop this run on the Tiger - they hopefully will come back with another paint scheme next fall -

A) will create a real limited number of hard to find S1 Tigers - which could create more publicity and more buzz around the WWII Line
B) Give us another Tiger paint scheme

The only thing that gets me about this Tiger I is... other than the members of Small Scale H. Q. (that be us) and a hand full of Moms who just bought a brown and tan tank thing for their kid, no one knows about this Tiger. Talk about hard to find. Next fall?
Oh well I'll just have to sit back and wait for 21st's King Tiger. Winter/Spring?

I was going to buy FOV's Tiger---based on the photo of it on the box of my FOV Abrams which showed a different paint scheme, weathering and wear/tear. I'm disappointed after seeing the photos posted here of the production Tiger---a different paint scheme, no weathering or wear/tear that I can see.

However, I love my FOV Abrams-desert paint.

The Target in Kearney Mesa(San Diego Ca.) by the 163 had two Tigers this morning. Looked better than I thought they would. Left them because I'm trying to load up on clearance stuff.

* They're already discontinued. ... They were pretty much discontinued as soon as they hit the shelves , and they won't be re-stocking them either , till next Fall of '08.

* So , get what you can , while you still can , NOW !!!

I think I will pass on this tiger......

I called FOV and was told this is a toy and not a collectable like the rest of their stuff.

Spotted the FOV Tiger tank for the first time at a Northern, CA Target and to my surprise they were already being clearanced at $20! Picked up several at that price. The M-1's were also being clearanced out at $20.
