He didn't mention, but probably because it was the same scheme as the boxes of the modern stuff showed.

He did mention a bit of displeasure with the Germans, and today told me they resemble the In Toyz figures. Yikes. :(

I'm really hoping by his remarks that the box is picturing prototypes, and not final figures.

Oh, and he said the Tiger lacked an MG on it. FOV's stuff is nice, especially for the price, but it doesn't sound like it'll be winning any contests against 21st's tanks.

Well the modern guys surely looked better in person than they did on the back of the box so let's hope the same holds true for the WWII guys. One good thing about them being like the Intoyz guys is the possibility we get large camo smocks and various uniforms.

I also can't wait to see the WWII weapons. The M4 they did for the modern guys is quite nice and very sturdy.

I had stopped by the Target closest to me earlier today and saw nothing new , just more of the same and increased shelf space for BBI stuff, new stuff belonged to Star Wars

I agree, and mentioned to my friend about how the modern's didn't look so swift on the boxes either, but man he has me worried now. The lack of these being out in any quantity could be due to the modern stuff backing up somewhat. It's been out and sold through in my area a number of times now, but now there's some stalling going on... Bound to happen. I just hope we see the WW2 stuff here lickity split. I want all of it, regardless of the crappy colors or (*gasp*) sculpts. Let's just hope that's not the case though. ;)

If they're as slick as the modern guys, I am not concerned. Those, translated to WW2, would just be amazing army builders.

Today I went out and scoured WM and TRUs to check on the new 1/32 FW190A and the Tiger/Sherman FOV in 1/18 but came up empty. The good news is I burned up a bunch of gas and time and I can confirm that we are well stocked with the carrot munching horses and the Homey line.

I too was out looking for the 1 18 FOV shermans and Tigers at target, but no luck :( I was told to look on their web site, but there too, no luck. I did see the 1 32 FOV tiger and that looked great. Can't wait to see AND have the 1 18 FOV tigers ;) Herr General

Just checked my local Target and no Tigers. They did have plenty of 1:18 modern tho...
BBI choppers hummers figures
FOV abrams bradleys and figures
so I don't expect to see WW2 'til next year

Checked Silverdale WA Target no shermies or tiggers yet. Wish we knew for sure if it was spotted and it is 1/18th scale.
Could not think of anything to put here.

I know no photos, but I can attest to the honesty of the spotter, and that he is well aware of scale differences... he used to collect XD and hang around here way back in the board's infancy, but gave up this hobby...

It could be that these just aren't seeing wide distribution at all with modern back-ups... My area has had the same modern hanging around for a while now after some pretty decent steady sales. New stuff won't go out if your store's already full even if it's different, just like new SW figures don't go out if the old stuff isn't selling through...

So far I've seen nothing around my area either, but I 100% have no doubts about the validity of my buddy's report or accuracy, so I wouldn't worry on it.

Sometimes an individual store will release something before they're supposed to. Could be a bunch of Targets have the new items but are awaiting the official release date.

But my guess would be yours -- they're just waiting for the old stock to be bought up before they put out the new stock of FOV items. I know my TRU just put out the new BBI guys even though they've been out awhile now. It's a TRU that seems to not get as much business (at least in military toys) so the stock hangs around awhile before they put out the new stuff.

Could someone please post a couple of photos of the back of the box for either the Bradley or Abrams? Thanks.
