But the question is why would they want to "spice" up the display with something they may not be producing or have no intentions to produce? Especially another company's product if that is what it is. Funny how they've never done this before at any other toy fair.

They did just that last year with Sci-Fi-ish stuff. Kit-bashed, not happening, and other company's stuff. I'm not saying that's the case here, just saying they did do it before.

I think Mike just answered our questions in the BBI Q/A thread....
Sound like it might be very promising.....

I'm not so sure, but I'll be optimistic.

I'm pretty sure that's not a new A-10 mockup... being around them quite a bit recently, I can see some major major errors that go beyond something that would be overlooked. But you never know what they may have in store!

No doubt about the errors.....but it may just be something to represent what aircraft they are or will be working on for next fall. Nothing near what the finished product is going to look like.
Till we know for sure, the hunger strike must go on!!!!!!!!

Maybe its a placeholder for a REAL A-10 proto to be unveiled at the REAL toyfair....bear in mind this is just pre toyfair boys!! Otherwise, why else would they put it in? I think its either a joke by Mike or a placeholder, other than that why would they waste their time and energy to mount that thing up so high on the ceiling?
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:
F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

I'm hoping that it's just a placeholder to give retailers an idea of what they are going to do.

I don't know if anyone has seen the previews for the upcoming movie "Jarhead", but it looks like there are going to be some scenes with the A-10 in it. From what I saw looks likes some cool fly by footage.....

outstanding idea! seeing as they've already got the LAV, the M1 and the Marine figures, however they'd need a fig repaint to reflect the chocolate chip desert pattern

We'll we did have a poll a month or so ago for what we'd like to see in the next modern figure line up. If I remember right, regular infanty won. Great opportunity for that pattern to happen. I think it would be a good movie tie in.

I thought of another reason to make an A-10, you could make one of Capt. Kim Campbell's A-10, then you can have a well known female jet pilot.
LETS FIGHT-FIGHT-FIGHT FOR A BIG OLE A-10!!!!!

I've noticed lately that if I put my hand up to a light I can see my skeleton. Just like an Xray! Not only am I losing wieght but I'm learning anatomy as well.
