Well, well, well..... The 88 looks to be the most detailed XD piece yet made, hands down! Man, that thing looks like another playset! Limber, unlimber, limber, unlimber....... Just downright beautiful!

The gun looks good but the limbers are fantastic. Nice attention to detail 21st! I need to start designing a grill to put that 88 on.

This is one awesome piece ! ...

... and from the pics on their site , is highly detailed and looks very realistic. 8)

Another excellent piece !

Hopefully an SdKfz. 7 , to help tow it , won't be too far behind now , which would also help make this marriage complete. + = 8)

Sweet piece. I hope in the future they make a vehicle to pull it!

Outstanding pictures! Now let's have it!

I wonder who has dibs, TRU or WM?

Since I'm still in the midst of my Pak 40 Hanomag euphoria, I guess I can wait a little while.

I agree 8)

Now only if we can get that level of detail in our 1:18 aircraft.

WOW look at all that detail…looks great!!!!!!!!!

I will have to get several of these. This seems to be one of 21st finest.

Beautiful! Of course the Famo must be coming right after.

Now, we need a 25 pounder with Limber & Tractor to offset this.

We need the 88 now!

Want the 25 pounder ASAP!

Great looking piece, BUT we do need that Famo to pull it around, the 251 just won't do it.......kind of like a Jeep pulling a 105mm.........it was done, very slowly and not for very far.

Now how about a matching American piece....like a 57mm Anti-tank gun (we already have the 1 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton Dodges to pull it), the 57mm could be sold in a boxed set of two for an instant gun section at a price to make 21C happy.. or a 40mm Borfors towed AAA gun.....but then we need a CCKW to pull it around or a High Speed Tractor to pull it around........now if we get a HST, it could pull around any artillery, anti-tank or AAA piece...

Am I asking too much?

Of course I'm asking for alot, but then I am a member of this board, and our job is to whine and beg, and ask for alot and hope we get a little..

Also ,.. I think this new piece should retail for , at least the same price as the "PaK-Track" , @ $29.99 ... Can't really see too much more than that. + 8)

$50-$60

That is more like it. If the Pak 40 is the same price as the haltracks don't know why we would think the 88 would be too. I think the fov 88 is in 1/32 is about $50..

I suspect it will land in the same price grouping as the Tiger and Panther, which means about $40 at WM, and maybe $45-50 at TRU. Considering the size and complexity, I would consider that a fair price, especially with a figure or two and some shell boxes or other accessories.

Just a couple of days ago you said you would buy many - now not even one? :?

I think I would rather one or two nice ones than 4 or 5 lousy ones..

well, most online places have the halftracks and pak listed for $39.99, they sold at TRU for $29.99 and at WM for about $23....so add $10 or so to that and that's probably what the 88 will be.

If it's going to be $40 at WM it had better come with a few crew figures because most people wont' think the gun itself is worth that money.

Come on... that think is not worh $50 plus bucks.

I made the multiple comment before I heard of the price... At $30 I would buy multiples. At $50 they will be warming the shelves. :?

We got to keep in mind that the 50$ advertised is a small retailer price. I bet if you are willing to wait for it to show up in WM or TRU it will be closer to the 30$ price point.

Very true.

It really is a great looking piece. Hopefully it will be cheaper at Wal Mart. If not they will be hanging around till they are discounted. I don’t even know what I’m complaining about... I hate complaining.
