Hmm, I was one of the first to pre-order (if their little counter is correct), didn't get an email. Hopefully it's on the way, can't wait to see what kind of box it's in.

Got my e-mail yesterday as well and the Toy Federation's site no longer shows it on Pre-order so should be showing up at my front door by weeks end. :D

Received my ME-109E-4 Nightfighter today! Love the black paint scheme.
The box was the usual 21st hobby store box but the 109 on the panels is the tropical version, which looks great as well. Highly recommend this one.

:D

Good sign! I'm crossing my fingers that I'll receive mine tomorrow. I wonder why there are no other retailer selling these beside Toy Federation. I know these are expected in Walmart soon but with their distribution system and lack of other retailers carrying these, they may become hard to come by.

Hey guys,

I was able to get a couple rough photos of the black 109. They belonged to Nachtjager Gruppe 1 in 1941. Check out the Photos in the Profile Album. Hope they help!

So,

21st does it again and kicks out a 100% correct paint scheme. I didn't think it was legit, but I was wrong again! Keep it up 21st!

Does anyone know who piloted the bird that 21st C made? I believe the markings are G9+GV? And was it the E-4 or E-7 version? I'm just wondering. Thanks

VMF- Where are you located? I am anxiously awaiting mine and I would like to know how close I might be to getting it. I am in Utah.

Got my black machine today. Its... BLACK!
I knew it would be, just wasn't really prepared for how striking it is. This will be my favorite 109 scheme till 3 weeks from now when the new 109's start showing up! That one is gonna be a killer plane!

The one on eBay went for over $200!!!!!

Granted, it's a cool plane and all, but why in the world would you pay 4x what you could order the plane for online?????

Forget online...THESE ARE WM planes! They will be 25 bucks at some point....that auction was absurd.

W-M and Toy Fed

Post by jhogan » Wed Nov 10, 2004 10:33 am

I was in Toy Fed's site looking at the 109 night fighter. I found their 109G in a very attractive paint job. The pictures I've seen of the W-M 109G looks like it flew through a balloon full of red paint. If Digger is right, and the Toy Fed's 109 will be available at W-M, I'll wait.

I screwed up in the above post! The red nose 109G is offered by BCA not W-M. Sorry. Does anybody know what, if or when W-M will offer a 109G?
