and I guess we can average the prices for a better guesstimate of what they may be worth on the secondary market

Ebay is a very hard animal to predict how it's going to behave.

With the false start of my auction, it's really one of those "what-if I had..."
situations. I thought about taking it down before the last 12 hours. But what if some else came in and put theirs' up for auction? Having one of these planes on auction at a time is the key. If other people had put their plane up for auction when mine was going on, I don't think the price would have been so high. So, I left it up and with 47 people watching (most of this board  ) and over 600 hits, I was hoping that it would go up in the last hour to seconds of the auction. Which it did.

Good luck to anyone else that wishes to try their luck with Ebay...

Keep in mind that you should always post in the same category as all off the other simular items. There are too many items that are categorized incorrectly and do not get sold for what they are worth (or more).

I agree with that. It’s actually fairly easy to put your item in the wrong category. Your best bet is to try to duplicate the same parameters of a successful auction. By the way, today is 20 cent insertion fee day.

Another Tender Terror on eBay, Now!! This one belongs to Lefty, as we all know it is part of a clearance sale he is having. Looks like it was listed Saturday, and as of right now has no bids. New twist in starting the price high...see if it works.

And just so everyone knows, this is on here, because I have my own motives for watching these auctions that has nothing to do with Lefty's selling part of his collection. It's all part of a strategy to smoke out one of these models in particular.

Which reminds me, I should be sending an email to 21st right now...

So another Tender Terror hits ebay. So far the people that have sold theirs have made a pretty good sum of money and this auction more then likely will be no different. Now that I have Old Crow mine might go up for sale even though I said I would never sell it. But with HHH and Old Crow I have enough 357th Mustangs and soon BBD will be on its way so I have to make room. Ridge Runner has already been sold and looks like TT will be next. I'm very proud of it but room needs to be made for my third famous and last Mustang. So I'll see what I can get for it this weekend.
