Oh, hells yeah!!!!
With the toy fair coverage scattered over many posts, I must have missed this one. I, for one, feel that BBI makes more detailed models than 21st. I really appreciate what 21st does as it comes out with more models at lower prices so this is not an insult, but the more expensive, not as many models per year BBI stuff is, IMHO, better quality. I love their sherman, and I would probably buy possibly two. Maybe more if they come out with some really neat paint schemes.
With the Allied armor trailing in number to the German stuff, I would like to flesh out my little allied army!!

Whoops, got all excited over nothing, I thought you guys were talking about an M18 Hellcat. I got so excited I didn't even finish reading the post. I went back and read the whole thread.

Sorry, well let my post be a request for one of those.

Dfoos, a BBI M18 Hellcat is wishful thinking and a great piece of armor. Unfortunately, it will probably never be made. On the other hand a BBI F6 Hellcat will be awesome and a must have as stated by many before. BBI does some incredible work and I can't wait to see it on TRU's shelves!

As for bbi jets.... I don't care which jets they produce. As long as they make 'em, I'm buying 'em. I would be beyond happy if they made a Tomcat to go along with the Hellcat. Wouldn't that be the prize piece?!

In due time...........

Maybe they should come out with the F4. Then we'd have three mfgrs to pick from. :P

I'll buy at least one. I'll also buy anything from BBI in 1:18th.

Definately

Once I see the paint schemes, I will swoop in and get 1 maybe 2. The Hellcat and P-61 have been at the top of my list for the last 3 years and now I'm finally getting the F6F. I'm not holding my breath on getting a Widow anytime soon although the appearance of a large bird like the Phantom gives me hope that someday we could see a P-61.

With all the different birds we would like to have, these companies should never run out of ideas and stay in business for a lifetime. :D :D

I will get one if I see one. I wonder if TRU's is still going to carry the BBI planes. the Zero, the F18 nor F16 never showed up at TRU's. I notice this week while tring to find the BBI Sherman there wasn't any price stickers on the shelve for any BBI stuff there. Wish Walmart started carring BBI and Admiral plane in addition to 21st. (with a better distribution system too while I am wshing.)

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

My father worked on Hellcats.
As a little kid, I remember it sounded funny hearing my father who rarely cussed use the "h" word.

Grabbing one of these is mandatory for me.

Something like this.... http://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/ref/k ... _f6f_d.jpg
Yes it would compliment the Avenger, but the F6F proposed is PTO and none of our Avengers are. I feel that a F4F Wildcat would be a better addition BEFORE a Hellcat, since the F4F was the platform from which the designers set out to improve and subsequently just designed a completely new airplane: the F6F.
