I was lucky enough to get the whole set of BotB figs in one trip to WN. Snagged a few extras on later trips for head swaps and such.
Now all they have are a few Japanese figures rotting on the vine so to speak. I'm not suprised, they look like twisted McFarlane figures. Awful head sculpts.

At least a lot of folks can get 21st Century products at your local Walmarts in the USA (no matter new or old). We are totally skunked here in Canada. After TRU stopped selling their products, we virturally had nowhere to go (except smaller hobby shops and specialty stores at much higher prices with little selection).
Walmart Canada has no future plans on carrying any of the products (any scale) from 21st Century. It sucks having at least 4 stores in your area that carry nothing and will never carry anything.
I highly rely on Bad Cat Aviation and E-Bay. Or an occasional trip across the border. The border trip can also yield BBI, PTE and Soldier Force. As they are also brands hard to come by up here.
Consider yourselves lucky! We who live outside the United States aren't as blessed.
Cheers

Also this: Who here east of the Mississippi found the diecast M-48s? Who got the "Ridge Runner" retooled P-51s? The F-86s? Heck, even the Mig-15s have seen a wider distribution in your neck of the woods. What I'm trying to point out is that your area of the country has recieved some items that have still yet to make it to the west coast! I remember when reports were coming of retooled P-51s gathering dust while the west had yet to see one. A few months ago when your side of the country was finding alot of neat 1:18 stuff, it was very dry here in the west. The tables have turned for the moment, but the east will once again get new stuff while the rest of the country drools

Hmmm, not Pittsburgh, haha... Though I have seen that Mustang. There is one sitting at my local WM.
But yeah, none of the rest of it... The only jet I've ever seen is that one with the German cross on it... Never saw a jet, 21st or BBI, in a store.

I don't know what part of East of the Miss. River was flooded with new 1/18 XD. Not here in N.J. None of the the W.M.s I visited recently in Eastern Pa. had anything good either. I've seen a couple of new P51 Ridgerunners and that's it. We do have a monopoly on the German F-104 and the Seamann with some R/C M113 mixed in and a lone M48. We are still waiting for the Stukas, Avengers, Corsairs, BoTB I& II figures, USMC figures, Pak 40, M16, German halftracks, MIGs, F-86s and I'm sure there are others that I missed. To say that we've had a plentiful new supply of 1/18 XD here is flat out inaccurate. At least in N.J. and Eastern Pa. Hopefully this will change but it looks very grim from here.

Distribution
Hi,
I hear your pain. Another reason why it isnt a good idea to put all your eggs in one retail basket as far as the manufacturer goes. Once it leaves their facility, its up to WM's distribution centers to properly ship out the items to each of their stores and keep them well supplied should sales exceed supply.
While online retailers and specialty shops are undoubtedly going to be a little higher in price than WM, I think they stand a better chance of having an item in stock at a more consistent rate. Most offer some sort of shipping deal / incentive to allay some of the shipping costs. And for those customers that dont have a WM near them, its the next best thing along with hunting on ebay.
Then again, if it wasnt for WM, the online shops and the specialty shops might not commit enough orders to warrant production of these items.

Well, in Virginia Beach today there was a FLOOD of 21st century Aircraft!
There was a Vendor at our local Model Train Show with a huge selection of 21st Century XD and 32x aircraft!
Check out these pics
A train layout also shows an Aircraft park in HO scale using Corgi planes!

Andy,
I don't keep up with the aircraft, so I do not know what is new or not! There were a couple of Mig boxes sitting on the table, but I barely gave them a glance! If there had been any 1/18 armor I could have told you all about it!
I found out about the train show through the paper and then verified it on the VB Convention Center site! Finding the 21stst and BBI stuff was just a fluke!
They have another train show (Greenberg) comming up on December 2nd!

Hey all, just got back today, Wow, You guys aren't kidding about a dry area. I hit up several WM's in the area of Dumfries, Potomac Mills, Springfield and such in VA. Nothing New. A couple of the stores didn't even appear to carry 21st Century at all. What a huge dissapointment. I did find that KB toys in the Springfield Mall does carry 21st as well as PTE. Most was stuff that I already had, but they did have the S2 1/144th Tanks. There was only one Sherman left in the new paint scheme and that one is mine now, but there were plenty of the others. (There were several of the 1/18 PTE Howitzers for $24.99 if anyone is interested.)
Hey everyone, this is my first post on this site. Had some trouble getting on.
Well the topic, I live in columbus Ohio and I haven't found anything new for awhile. Most of the new stuff that I have has been online. Hate those shipping charges!!
The walmarts out here hate collectors and tru has gone downhill also. Hope to find the new pak40 soon but not crossing my fingers. [/i]

I hit the local Wallys again today hoping just maybe to get some new armor action. Well there seems to be no shortage on 1/32 single and dual armor packs, playsets and Zeroes. But as far as 1/18 there were a few vanilla hanomags and a couple spec ops jeeps. And also a few of the ever present Japanese marines.
The other Wallys only seem to carry figures and only a few of them at that. With them making the toy dept bigger for Christmas I had hoped to see some more XD but so far it doesn't look good.

I was at a NMRA train show around the 3rd of Nov and a few vendors had a load of 1/18 planes and tanks for sale. There's another show on Dec 2-3 at the Va Beach Pavilion and some of the same vendors go to it also. If any of you guys live nearby you might want to check it out (although its $7 to get in).
Hello,
I finally got the PAK40 yesterday here in Columbus Oh, and also got two german BOB open coats. I was very surprised to see that this WM south of town finally had a decent selection of xd. They had the new hanomags and american halftracks also. Still no sign of the new planes though, but with Christmas coming up soon who knows.
Just as an afterthought, how about the Buckeye, Michigan game? My wife and I arent big sports fans, but we loved that game. GO BUCKS!!!
