Ummmm, sad with an exclamation point? Maybe its a spad, like an A-1 Skyraider? Perhaps a sad looking airplane or armor)?

"It's sad"...my guess is that Mike will be telling us that bbi is folding it's tent on 1:18 scale. I stopped at a TRU in Fairlawn and the only bbi on it's shelves were 2 soldiers from their first release, 2 tanks and an 'Old Crow'...NOTHING else!! Nor any tags.
At Target, bbi was scarce there too. I hope not...but I can't think of anything "sad" that they'd release

I wonder if there is any significance to the fact that Mike is waiting until Friday the Thirteenth to tell us what the new product is? Seems he may be tempting fate. Of course he can always just whisper it to me that way there is no chance of bad luck occuring.

I figure it is the hellcat we got a glimpse of awhile back. But I cant figure out how "it's sad". then again, I cant figure out how a warthog is sad either and I hope it is that as well! :P

Same here. My first hunch is a hellcat, but I cant figure in the "It's sad" part..........

If you look at a Hellcat from the front, its cowl does sort of make a sad face. I know I am reaching here, but work with me. :D

Maybe it refers to the Hellcat like:

"It's sad" that this aircraft has been overlooked among World War II Fighter aircraft for the 1/18 scale line.....

Maybe sad is an acronym for 'search and destroy'....indicative of a Warthog.

I'm with Sabrefan and that looking at whatever it is directly from the front might make a "sad" face.

For example:

new AC

Post by digger » Tue Oct 10, 2006 8:28 pm

It is not new armor, it is AC...but Friday is a long way from Tuesday..."watch this space" should maybe be changed to to "tune in Friday." A sticky with no substance is near pointless in the meantime...
