No noe Air-to-Airs yet... but, I had a little adventure today. Went to NAS El Centro for the Blue Angel's first 'show' to the public. AMAZING. The only base in the WORLD that I know of that isn't built facing the sun! that mean I was able to get excellent photos! Not to mention the Blue Angels performed a full 25 minutes longer than any other show because it was the first. Of course, I had to drive 200 miles (yes 200) to get there, and 200 miles to get back... and it was 100+ degrees out at the El Centro 'middle of nowhere' desert. This was my first time to the show. Here's some photos:

Unfortunatly, she didn't fly... but probably the last operational F-14 I'll ever see at an airshow:

As always, AMAZING WORK!! The clairty is amazing, especially in the blue angels picture where you can see what direction the pilot is looking!

I use mostly a L series 100-400mm IS USM F4.5 Canon lens ($1,500). He he.

Hey, those are SWEET pics!!!!!!!!!!! You said you use a Canon Rebel,...would that be the 35 or the Digital Rebel....and the lens....you get what you pay for! That of course and you know what you're doing! REALLY COOL!

It's the digital Rebel. I will be moving over to the BRAND NEW Digital Rebel 350D very very soon.
