Wow! great news, it seems were going to be bombarded with 1:18 now! see!!!! patience is a virtue :-)
Will be hitting 8-10 WM's between now and Friday, so I'll do an AO report once I've managed to scout 'em out, for those of you in the NE region (Va/Md/Pa/DC/WV).

I checked 5 of the stores in my area and didn't find anything today. Talking with Raider, he said there were only a couple in his area well to the north of me, however, hearing from VMF-115 that they are already in the Midwest does give some hope. Perhaps more will surface as stores continue restocking and reorganizing for Christmas. The Mig-15 is on my must have list, but I think I will try to wait for this one patiently as afterall, its not the Avenger

The Mig 15 are in Stock at most walmarts !!!!!!!!!!!
I just called my super Wal-Mart, gave them the upc code they checked and said it was in the back somewhere, but they are in and at my walmart!!!! So if they are in S.D. I would bet that most of them are in your AO also.

Also checking for the F-86

Not here, only 2 walmarts in 4 counties have the TBM, some WM haven't finished resets. I'd be curious if the MiG is showing up at WM's that don't have the TBM.

Of course not, silly, its a MiG.

I'm completely the opposite. Matter of fact, I expect this to be the first non-clearance plane since the Huey Hog I walk out of the store with multiples of.

The wife checked one Walmart today and nothing (but did buy me a DS gunner and Seahawk shirt - what a gal!). Wanted to have one more sighting before I go crazy. Now, tomorrow, do I head north and check there, or head south to the Elephant Graveyard and check there? So many choices.......

I don't know about you guys but the belts on the F-86 look great! IMO when you ad up all the extra features like, the removable gun panels, the opening ammo bay / step, the open nose intake with turbine detail, the correct front landing gear, airbrakes, control surfaces, and landing flaps... This plane has it all!!!! I think this might be the best offering yet in the 1:18 industry.

It is the best.
Very well done 21st century Toys, the more detail, the better.

TKO, do you know if the Mig has the same details as the Sabre?

I do not know for sure if the MiG has belts...

I do know it has the drop down gun access, and I do know that it has the open air intake in the nose. I would suspect that we might see the turbine fan inside like the Sabre?

The MiG-15 does have all the other stuff, full set of moving control surfaces, airbrakes, and so on. I was hoping that a fan might open one up and let us know!!!

TKO, the seat belts in the new F-86 are awesome. That is one great looking model. Dang, where am I going to put all these great new models? :D

One Walmart stop today - zilch. Wife called a couple using the UPC code from Page 1 - be careful using that. To Walmart, that is an assortment code. According to the two stores she talked to, at first glance they would say "Yes, we have X in the store". But, when they actually looked at it, the X was a total of the Avengers, MEs, and Stukas they have. So, 0-3 today, but picked up another BOB soldier.

Bummer :(
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

21st could sell a lot of just the seat belt hardware, without even the straps, if they made it available....I'd retrofit all my A/C.

Eagerly awaiting the Mig-15 at WM at some point, or from an online source. This one I want real bad, to be blunt about it!

So you've actually found some? Please clarify! A couple others have reported them, but they are in the computer system and not actually on the floor :?

Nothing new in my area as of yet, and I kind of doubt I'll be seeing them anytime soon. The latest 1:18 restocks (apart from the P-51/Smoke II F-104 combo) have been the tropical stukas and BH corsairs. Still no Avengers and that, to me, is not a good sign for future new 1:18 aircraft. I don't mean to gripe, just this is one I want as part of finishing off my collection and I would love to see a cool new 1:18 plane sitting on a shelf at Wal Mart for once...

There were 4 XD boxes that said Mig-15 BIS.. I couldn't actually look at them because they were stacked on the top shelf in the toy isle and they had the pic of the Red nosed version on the ends..

Sorry, I didn't get more intel, but these weren't on my list, so I didn't do much more than look at the boxes..
