Found the new BOTB 2 figs today at one of our Walmarts. There was only three figs left, 1 American and two German. Great sculpts and accessories.
They are the only thing new found so far.

Wish I could have helped you out but someone beat me to most of them, like I said there were only three left but they are really good. The American I found is CPL Jeremy "Cowboy" Allen. Comes with a young head on the body and an older semi-bald head as an accessory along with a couple of helmets, arms, coat and more.

I'll keep watching and get extras if I find them.

Andy

Good find! Hopefully these will get around the country before too long. I purchased plenty of the S1 repaints, but some of the new German tankers and the US figures are just too cool to pass up :)

BoB 2 in Georgia

Post by STUKA » Thu Mar 02, 2006 6:48 pm

Well someone beat me to the post but I found the BOB 2 figures at the Walmart in McDonough GA
on the southeast side of Atlanta.

Store still had a lot of the Japanese marines and older BOB figures, some Marines and Sahara figures.

Only had three and I picked up all three.

CPL Alexander "Animal" Diaz, CPL S.P. "Sam" Phares, and CPL. Cooper "Whammer" Sutherland.

No Germans!! But then again they may be second wave.

Also - three 1:6 hummers left at $50

Imagine that! I found about 7 BOB 2 figures at east/west connector walmart in marietta, I chose the two german tanker figures, pretty neat.

I have seen two or three different BF109G recently but don't know which versions they are. 21st Century's website doesn't have any information. Is there someplace that shows the planes and a little history behind them?

Try Bad Cat http://www.badcataviation.com/21cetoai.html They have pretty good history on most of the 21st century stuff.

BCA has the the 21c retooled P-51D "The Flying Undertaker" up for preorder. Included are pictures of the actual production model. Sure is one good looking plane!

.... holding back my had to keep from ordering... must not get aircraft duplicates... must save for the Avenger... the F-86 & Mig-15....

Does that make 3 versions with no wing lockers? :?

They're kicking out great paint schemes though. :P

Nope no wing lockers on the Flying Undertaker boys! That sucks but oh well. I'm going to hold off on ordering any of the new tool P-51's until I see one wearing the colors of the 357th FG like Glammourus Glenn III ect. Besides BBI will be coming out with Old Crow soon (I Hope) so I'll order one of those first. The new tool Mustangs look very good though I will say that.

I just saw a pre-order for a 1/18 OLD CROW. May is the ETA. It didn't say who was making it. I hope to see it too.

Leave it to TRU!!!!

Post by WGP Klaus » Sat Mar 04, 2006 8:02 am

Stopped in a local TRU last evening to pickup a gift card for a nephew, figured I'd see if they had anything 1:18 besides the typical crap this particular store has, low and behold, bottom shelf under the FOV diecast lay a Snake Stuka and P38 (Samantha Payton), the window on the stuka box was detached from the interior top of the box, and both boxes were dusty as hell., but both still sealed and all parts present and accounted for at least with the Stuka as I haven't completely removed the P38 from the box, just peeked to see which version. I proceeded to pickup both not even scanning, and when I checked out the salesperson scanned the upc on the Stuka, and it came up $4.99 BBI Asst. or something to that effect, and noticed that there was a sticker placed over the factory upc, that came from a BBI M1 Abrams, and the P38 rang up at $29.99, so all in all it was a good night. I don't know if these pieces were "old stock" they dug up in the back, or if Dist. dug these up. Regardless, I'll be checking the TRU's in my AO today (5 other stores) and see if I can't dig up anything else. BTW, this was the same store I purchased roughly 14+ M48's, and roughly 20+ Vietnam figs at clearance 4 years back and sold most to members from GP's old site.

Goodluck if Dist. Warehouses have dug up some old stock.,

s6?

Post by digger » Sat Mar 04, 2006 8:43 am

Is that version 6 of the bbi Mustang? :?
Crazy to think that in half the time and with half the molds bbi has kicked out more Mustangs than 21C.
No wonder 21C retooled the D model - if there is that kind of demand you can't really blame them. :|

Hey digger. I think thats the 6th version we are going to see buddy. And I agree with you on the 21st thing about the retooled Mustang. There is a demand for Mustangs and I think its only going to get bigger once 21st gets their Mustangs out to the general public.

The 6th BBI P-51? Can anyone out there list the P-51's and who made each of them?
"21C" "BBI"
Lou IV Killer
Laura Michelle HHH
BBD CripesA
Ridge Runner Old Crow
Tender Terror
Petie 2nd
Flying Undertaker

Which ones am I missing? Do I have them in the right list? Just curious. Thanks, Kevin.

The Newton NJ WM had scads of the Japanese guys too. They had two types of uniforms- a darker green and a mustard yellow green. They had two Me109s and a P47(Eileen). Many HUMVEEs and Dodge WC63s. Franklin WM has about the same except for the Dodges.

Kevin,

Your list on what company made the Mustangs are spot on. BBI has done 6 or is going to be doing a sixth repaint in their Mustang series. The other BBI Mustangs that they have not released to the general public are the two with the non U.S markings and I cant remember which ones they were at this time. But when they release "Old Crow" it will be the 6th in the series from BBI and I'm sure there will be plenty more to follow.
