I was actually thinking that the next plane I might build depending on how well this one comes out might be a Soviet Mig 3.

Really Pickel, the MiG-3? Why? That was basically junk compared to the ME-109, and not a great aircraft, even in Russia's eyse, despite the cool MiG name, which had me interested enough to look that one up.

The Russian aircraft I have been wanting to get my hands on now for years is the YAK-9!

It was the first Russian fighter to shoot down an ME-262, not to mention the most mass-produced Soviet fighter of all time. It hit the ground in 1942, and had one of the longest histories of use by Russia in WWII...This plane was even used by North Korea in the Korean War...pretty solid prop fighter for its time. I think this might be the FW-190/P-51/Spitfire of Russia, no?

It is a MUST to have at least one Russian plane to display against all the USA, German, British, and Japanese stuff... I would definitely pay for the Yak-9!!! It is cool looking too.

Check out a picture here:

The Polish PZL would be an excellent plane to have as well, despite absolutely hating the look of them. They were what the Polish Airfore was mainly made up of in 1939 when the slaughter began by the Germans. Having that displayed would really make it heavily appearant just how outclassed they were by the invaders, and how unfair the entire conflict was at the beginning.

I would buy either...not that I think anyone would make the PZL unfortunately. BUT THE YAK-9!?!?! OH MAN! That thing just looks great!

The Ilyushin Il-2 Sturmovik would also be an interesting thing as the best ground attack plane of the soviets, built more than 36'000 pcs...

Few more pics think it will not be much longer and will have it ready to mold out for reproduction for people.

Working on cockpit area going to try to make it as close to the actual hurricane cockpit as possible even though it means more fine detail molds.

I will post some more pictures soon, I am working on it everyday. I am trying to get this as accurate as possible being the first plane I have done, I want it to be done well.
Got the landing gear finally worked out, and am getting the fuselage tweaked up along with the wings to make sure everything lines up right and looks good.

Will put some more pics up soon.

So stay tuned.

Really impressive piece of work!!! I have to admit the Hurricane isn't one of my favorites, but I am awed by the sheer quality of craftsmanship on display here!

No not really, just a option if people want it like that.

Most of the early Hurricanes I've seen pictures and models of had the guns recessed in the wings. Some later Hurricane models had two 20mm cannon in each wing that protruded.

Otherwise, the prototype is looking really good!

Hurricane Mk I had eight .303 FN-Browning guns buried in the wings; early Mk II had six or eight .303 FN-Brownings, and later models (Mk IIc) had four 20 mm Hispano cannon; the Hispano barrels protruded from the wings. The Mk IId had two .303 FN-Brownings in the wing, and two 40 mm Vickers guns in pods under the wings for anti-tank purposes. The Mk IV had two .303 FN-Brownings, and could carry the Vickers gun pods, bombs or rockets as underwing loads.
