Another Mustang, another repaint and I will pass on it without regrets as I think there was many more coloreful and interesting sheme to do. But if a Ferocious Frankie repaint is being made then count me in.

Looks good, with the paint being nice and crisp, and clean panel lines.
P-51 is a natural choice for a repaint, as it has broad international appeal, with almost limitless liveries.
Probably not for me, as I have at least 20 P-51's already, and any new 1/18 purchase from me will have to be something special.
Do hope it sells well enough to see this company do some more repaints.

Well it's great to see somebody producing something in 1/18 and it is a catchy scheme..but the Mustang has already been done so many times. Depending on price I might pick one up but I would much rather have something that has never been released before

Thats a very striking scheme and looks great on the 21c P-51 tooling. Hopefully the production version will come out looking as good and not have serious QC issues (ie bent props). Not sure if I'll be down for it either namely as I have too many P-51s as it is. (I've got 4 21c retooled P-51s, the S1 21c P-51, and 3 BBI P-51s)

WOW! NICE!! Even if the folks with lots of 'stangs pass, it has a real good chance to bring in new folks. I like it.
Is SmallJoes the importer or are they part of the product development team?

I like it . I wonder how much ?
If it sales for $100 or more I feel that it may be doomed.
I would like it to sell for $70 or less. That is about twice what we payed in the heyday.
So I think that is fair.

Greetings:
Given the price of Mustangs lately on Ebay, this could be a smart release for the new company. All of a sudden the Mustang seems to be in great demand. Some of the schemes going for some nice $$$. If they kept it $100 or less I think they would sell well.
Probably won't get one but it looks to be a nice scheme and hopefully if it would sell it would lead to other things for them.
Corey

I like the looks of this but, given how many zillions of 1/18 P-51s are already out there, the success and impact of this will depend mightily on price. I'm with Pickel -- ~$70 seems about right to me . . .

Well, to keep my collection (almost) complete I´ll get one if the price is right. And I think the paint scheme is ok, I like it....

Planes are nice but when are we gonna get more 21st C. quality 1:18 WW2 vehicles and figures?! Anyone think that will ever happen, or is that doomed to be lost forever?

That figure would look cool as a Popeye Action Figure.

Since I was late on the whole 1/18 collecting game, I completely missed out on ALL Aircraft. All I managed to get was an Admiral Toys ME-262 White 8 Nowotny on Ebay for $40 a few years ago, so I could actually use a P-51 to match it. If it's not over $100 I'll convince a family member to get it for me as a birthday or Christmas gift.

I know alot of guys have all the versions that have been offered, but the new guys to the hobby, well, they have to pay large sums of money to start collecting, for someone to come out with a repaint is great for them and for the hobby.
If they sell enough repaints, hopefully they will keep adding versions, as was said the P-51 is a perfect place to start, I see it as a win, no matter what.

Looks nice, but I've got enough 1/18 scale P51s (8 between 21C & BBI), and just don't even want another one, but...
Bet there are plenty of folks who will buy this IF it is reasonably priced ($89.99?), like the recent BBI 109...

I don't have the final retail price yet but it will be under hundred, sounds like it will be very reasonable.

Does anybody or any dealers know the official price of the P51 and which dealer will be carrying it, I am eager to get one of this to add to my P51 collections.
Thank you in advance.

When it is ready for it's debut I am sure all the e-tailers will have it to sell.
