Glad to see the F-16 being released again. Got mine years ago, but this is good for those who don't have one, and good for the hobby. Now if they'd just bring out that black F/A-18 again....

Admiral is a great company. I love their 242s. Do it, you'll like it.

Form internal information, the missiles and small antennas attached on the wings has been fixed in harder PVC material and hard ABS for small antennas, moreover both rear landing gear has also been reinforced and not easy to collapse.

What was the original price for the F-16 Wolfpack when it was first released?

it was around $90...only available online and in specialty stores, never in mass retail. The F-18 was the same price but that was from TRU.

AFERGUSON:

Thanks for the info.
Maybe BBI will release the Thunderbirds F-16...and new repaints of the F/A-18.

I was fortunate to get a wolf pack F-16 from Target online when they were going for $50. A couple years ago I would have labeled buzz over an expensive repaint..."hype". Now It's just refreshing to see anything.

I really, really hope they do a repaint of the F-18. I missed out on that one.

well if BBI releases a new F-18 i will trade my golden dragon to someone for the new one or buy a new one and trade it for a golden dragon (as long as it is mint). mine is only missing the ladder but i think my f-16 ladder is the same and would ship it with it. i really just want two of the same squadron for wing men and have no preference for the group though i would love jolly rogers.

right i'd forgotten about the re-release of these at Target a few years ago. Along with most of the other BBI modern stuff. People were getting some crazy low prices for a while.

Is it such a good new, if it's only a repaint? I've been disapointed to find that my F-16 is 2 inches too long and same 2 inches too wide. So it's not 1:18, but between 1:17 and 1:16 though they say it's 1:18...
A small detail? Perheaps, but when you put a F-18 side by side with the F-16 and want to make a picture, and compare with the real ones, it doesn't make it right. Same with some Humvees and ground crew...
So, I think I would prefer to sell my F-16 and by a 2nd F-18.

Nightviper, did you see the boarding ladders that Pizzaguy is now selling? Much better and airfield compatible than the original F-16 ladder from BBI, more a hangar and maintenance ladder.

Just preordered from there because thats a tough deal to beat 8) It even competes with my local Hobbytown, which will sell the plane for the same $150+tax and I'll have to pay for the gas to drive over there as well.

Greetings

I'm interested to see if this drives the price of the Wolfpack versions down at all. Especially if it is made from a slightly better material and they have improved the mold.

thats what i was thinking too. I would think it would. I dont think most people would care what group it is as long as they have one.

Aiken Airplanes will ship it for free

Post by toyktdlgh » Thu Feb 24, 2011 7:15 am

Aiken Airplanes will also be offering this plane for $149.99 with free shipping. I like them the best of any online retailer. They didn’t have it marked as fee shipping the other day so I emailed and asked. Sally said they would ship them for free and updated their site to reflect that.

I can’t wait to get this one. I really regretted selling my other one but greed got the better of me. I’ll be keeping this one.
