Exactly what are you doing in the way of gear repair Jack? I do not see any difference in pictures.

That Black Aces scheme is beautiful. The VF-84 is my favorite though, but if I ever get second Tomcat, I will be converting to that VF-41 scheme. Great work!

If you look at your F14 bottom part of the gear strut is square and plastic ,this is the part which first bends than it breaks, my part is metal and round the way it should be first place,it looks scale and does not break

Is it possible you would consider selling your custom gear pieces by themselves? I've been lucky so far and not had any gear breakages on my plane, but there is always the possibility that it could happen and I would need to fix it, but not necessairly get a whole new plane

It is more about how you do it and what tools you using, there is a pressure fit involved exact size drills need to be used, it is less about part you using so I dont want to sell you a part which will make your life harder I rather have happy customer

Greetings

I have ordered a Jolly Rogers repaint from Jack with the gear fix after my F-14's gear broke to an unrepairable status thanks to a screw up by me. I didn't have a gear problem until I broke it. I will let everyone know what the repaint is like when mine is delivered.

I'm mainly getting the repaint because I do not trust doing it myself and I don't have anywhere to paint other than outside and there is so much dust and pollen where I live. So I am content with Skyworks taking care of it.

Corey

i know they use the square peg deal was to keep all the weight from torking..

if you row the wheel it tend to tork outward and i hope the fix will stop it from doing that...

thanks for the review when you get it..

$10! I can afford that! lol J/K

My guess would be $70 - $120 for a repaint... Looks very good but I dont know how much time was spent ;)

Great work any way I am tempted to get one soon. :D :D :D

Hard to say?

I don't know how much materials would be,and the time spent on it.

I would think $100 is the starting point.

Thanks for asking for input.

Here are a couple pics of my finished pilots using the Skyworks decals. I really liked how they came out.
