Man I sure hope BBI does not go under also, that would really really really bum me out. :(

BBI is a gigantic toy company.......no way they will go under. They may decide to stop making 1/18 items but they will never go under.

Until the 88's went on clearance i was hoping it was just an emergency dump of some older inventory to raise some short term cash. But to sell off 88's as well......boy that doesn't look good. With all the items they've sold so far 21c couldnt' have made much more that 20G. That wouldn't even come close to funding the KT production run. Plus, is the KT some sort of saviour for 21c? I doubt it and i doubt they think that.

It will be a popular item and a solid seller but it's not going to make the difference between corporate life and death.

The only glimmer of hope for me is the quantities that MD is selling. A hundred of this, two hundred of that. There are probably still thousands of items still around; so it may just be an emergency move by 21c to raise a bit of short term cash by dumping a portion of their stock to keep the lights on until things get better.

Unless that is true, i'm afraid to say it but i think we are seeing the last days of 21st Century Toys.
