I most likely would sell any piece of my collection for that price.

Well wrapping my head around a hypothetical where I couldn't even MAKE my own is odd and tough to really answer honestly I think because I just can't think that abstractly I think, but $3k for all 3 AT-TE's? Yeah, all 3 AT-TE's are sold.

Same with really all the rest... The figures ultimately mean more to me on some level, and there's lots of ships I'll likely never own for SW... I mean, the odds of me doing a scale Millenium Falcon aren't that great, and I want one... It's doable if you've got extra space to display it. I'll probably live without it. If I was paid $1000 to live without it, i'd probably be happy not to make an attempt... if that makes sense.

$1000 is just a lot of cash, and it's just toys... It's the ease of having it there at your fingertips, plus the cash to blow on it, that is why you don't just quit the hobby and save money I guess. Nobody's going to offer me $1k for a single SW piece on any shelf of mine though, so I don't think I've got to worry about making that decision. I'd be lucky to get offered $100 for even the "rare" stuff. *sigh*

Where do I sign up for this deal????

I'd GLADLY sell each plane for $1k and never own it again.

I'd sell in a heartbeat as long as they took it all.

Jesse, did the price on the Apache just go up?

$10 million and I'll give up every toy I have, never to buy another... I'd gladly give toys a big F it and quit for that.

If you want my left hand you can have too I think. Hell I may even give up my hearing.

I would pay some to build custom 1/16 aircraft......
or we could all pool our money and start a 1/15/16th toy company...we could circumvent that rule of never owning a 1/18th bird that we sold again....just go bigger.......
ahh playing the Devils advocate......there is always a loop hole some where......stick it to the man and build something better

It's too easy to take this question none-too-seriously and wise crack something cute back. When I first read it and some of the initial responses, I was tempted to do just that...but I started thinking seriously and here's my view on it. $1000.00 is well over 10X what I paid for most all of them each, but (as I'm sure there are many of us out there) hardly one of them is "straight from the box". I like to think I bought carefully and didn't just throw my money at everything coming down the pike. The ones I own now....well most are near impossible to get any more, and they all have a little something here or something there that makes them unique. So here's the rubb....I didn't buy them to stow away as if they were stocks or bonds and resell them when their value went up. I bought them for me....and I made changes (that continue to this day) that suit me...and I could care less what others say about those changes. I have a 1:6 Littlebird converted to a Cayuse I have been offered just that...$1000.00......and it's no deal. I couldn't find another very easily, nor would I go through some of the fits I had to make this one what it is. So I don't know how the rest of you feel, but mine are MINE...and I intend to keep them that way. Sorry Aferg...I didn't mean to wax prophetic on you, but I though a serious answer was in order.

I think most of us have answered honest to some degree. I'm certain I did. Give me $3,000 and 3 AT-TE's are gone forever... If I got $100 for each plane I have, I'd certainly consider selling at least most of them. Planes aren't my gig though... Tanks, eh, I think I'd part with them for that too.

Now Andrew, that would be like selling my car for $100! I got too many planes to just get $1000 for them, you know that! MMuuuuaaaahHHHH!!!!!

I agree with Folkwulfe. I have more than a few planes that I would be able to part with pretty readily - ones I picked up mainly to make sure a particular model was represented in my collection, but not favorite planes by any means. On the other hand, there are some planes that have very special meaning to me, and in many cases, the physical model was simply the last piece in the puzzle. Those planes will remain part of the collection, regardless.
