I see it now - never mind...never said it was cheap or easy to build it, just waaay too expensive, especially in this economy. IF I can justify a Hurricane, I will try to get one. Like my Komet.

I guess I and the family can just eat peanut buttter sandwiches for the next month - then I can get a Hurricane

I must say, from looking at the in progress pics, I can get a better understanding of how he does it, and am very impressed.
I've found ways to buy something I really like. These are going to be unbelievably nice. Lets see... do I have $500 worth of other stuff I can sell.

So, I wonder why the Africa Tropic Hurricane with the nose scoop is not offered on MTS anymore. Did it come and go, and we missed it?
I'm liking the Hurricane with the HMS Victorious colors.

That Hurricane is drop-dead gorgeous, indeed

Don't know what to think, really.

It could be nothing. I've had extremely flat models that would look glossy in pics because of the lighting/flash of my camera.King O' Fools wrote:Wow!
That Hurricane is drop-dead gorgeous, indeed; but the fuselage markings (waterslide decals?) seem to have a certain texture to them (maybe because they're so glossy) which contrasts greatly with the flat paintjob. Is this on purpose?

On the other hand, it could really be glossy if they haven't sprayed a flat sealer over the decal. Which is understandable since these are the pre-production pics.
And even if they get shipped with glossy decals, I think a quick spray of flat sealer would do the trick quite nicely.
