I will say this: There are more of us (dorky nerds) out there than you would believe. I had a small circle of friends at work years ago that used to have "Nerd Club" meetings once a week. We would take turns offering up books to read and discuss. One that comes to mind was a study of zoonoses and how their impact on humans evolved and changed as we moved from hunter/gather to agrarian to urban societies.

Two of the five of us were female coworkers, both attractive and one totally hot! I sh*t you not, true story.

I've been a dork all of my life... For some reason I'm like a god to some people, and people look to me, and admire me, and all this, and that's all fine and dandy but being known by a nickname and some blown-out-of-proportion projection kind of sucks... I mean I'm alright but there are just some things about me that are just off.

...and I don't see us as elitist, I don't see any hobby being worse than any other in dorkiness, unless you're a dude and you collect My Little Pony or something... I don't know. I don't judge people except by their actions and that guy's actions, as a moderator, were just wrong. My comments about spamming were frickin' immature but I'm also 19 and you know how that can be. But I know it's wrong because I judged them as a whole, and I despise that, and well, that made me a hypocrite. Internet fighting is lame anyway. I can't stand it and I don't know why I even thought about it. -slams head into wall- THE CONFUSION AND WHYS!

:) Cupcakes anyone?

And if you built model boats and planes and figures, you'd be a dork too. That's the point... Those guys trying to rub out someone from their group, and expanding knowledge and stuff, is silly. The same techniques translate across the board, but they don't want to help Fritz, or have any suggestions from Fritz to them, because he is into a scale and items they dont' consider "worthy" for whatever their opinion is worth.

It's a real homo thing to do, basically. And not homo gay, but homo lame, just so I'm clear there.

I collect Star Wars stuff... I've got more of it than any XD collector has XD stuff, I feel certain. Do I look down on guys that collect super hero stuff? Hell no... They're lame too. So are guys building model kits in their spare time. Why shun someone as lifeless as yourself, ya know?
