I ordered the FOV 1/16 Sherman last night.
For $375, I hope those three figurines included are Clint Eastwood, Donald Sutherland and Telly Savalas.

Just got UPS confirmation and the M4A3 Sherman will hit the beach tomorrow...I will post pictures of the landing.
The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

Just received the 1/16 M4A3 from FOV…wow is all I can say.
First off I am not the biggest Sherman fan, and have spent most my anal retentive modeling focus on Axis armor…but this is one sweet tank.

The Ford GAA V8 engine is spot on, great interior detail from the driver and asst. driver positions incl. a very detailed transmission and brake housing, great turret interior detail and main gun breech, the .50 cal. Ring / commanders hatch rotates, metal tracks, die cast hull and turret, even the tail lights are correct (silver top-red bottom) well weathered…and on and on. I will post pics when I can. All in all very very happy with this release from FOV.

YOXFORD:

That sounds good. I hope you post a detailed review along with your photos.
Mine arrives on Sept. 23, so I'm looking forward to it.

Please give us a review also on what material was used. Like, what are the tracks made of, does the suspension actually work, what are the road wheels and sprockets made of.

I appreciate it and congrats on your tank!
