Yeah, it was kind of a dilemma, it could have been a simple loose connection for all I know, but I just didn't want to fool around with opening it up and hoping I could diagnose and/or fix it. I can use a soldering iron as good as anyone, I'm an FCC licensed technician class ham radio operator (callsign N3TTN) and I've tinkered with and built tons of circuit boards, but even if I had attempted to locate the trouble there was no guarantee I was gonna be able to fix it, and then I'd still have to re-assemble it, box it back up and return it, so in the end I decided to just return it and let Mato deal with it.I'm sorry, but it kinda made me giggle when Mato asked you if you want to replace and fix the board yourself.
I was like, "WTF?"
Granted, I think the reason why the asked that was because 90% of the people in the 1/16th hobby are proficient with a soldering iron.

That's good to hear. With your background, I bet you could have fixed that Stug. But you're right to send it back. You paid for a working tank, you should get a working tank.ostketten wrote:Yeah, it was kind of a dilemma, it could have been a simple loose connection for all I know, but I just didn't want to fool around with opening it up and hoping I could diagnose and/or fix it.
