For the first time in the area they finally got in Battle of the Bulge S2 figures... I got almost a whole set (left a couple of the US guys that I'm certain will sit a while). The figures are great though their arms tend to pop off a bit too easy for my liking.

However, I'm happy as a clam... :) Now I just hope a 2nd shipment gets in here so I can buy all those too. ;)

Btw They show on the back of the box an Avenger.
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

There are 2 different set of BOB figures. They first set is void of extra stuff as the one now refered to as BOB2. They also released a S2 of the first set but only changed the colors of the German figures. In that set you have US MB Driver, US Tanker, US Infantry, US Bar Gunner (they all were the same S1/S2). The German figures were Tanker, closed and open coat Infantry. The S1 had the Tanker in white and the Infantry had white covers on the helmets. The S2 had 2 different Tankers, camo uniform (like one that came with the Panzer IV) and dark greenish gray inform and the Infantry had gray helmet over the white ones.

I think JJ was talking about the BOB2 figure though, because the BOB S2 were hard to come by and I haven't seen any of them in a long time.

That is a little unreal . Where did you find that price? Was it on ebay? The new BOB2 figure are better than the S1 BAR Gunner, so I could never think of paying that. Plus you get all the extra gear and over that one.

I got a bunch of those at TRU way back when for $2 and they were on amazon.com for a while at $5. The S1 Bar gunner figure is one of the most plentiful of the S1 Infantry figures - $80 for one is absurd!

While I was checking my local wally worlds for the avenger(brem and poulsbo WA)at the poulsbo oneJ I saw on the shelf a hanamog mutt and seal jeep.Price tag reads army assorted$9.83 each.So I grabbed the hanamog and headed to check out. Rang up as $22.76 :? .Told clerk that sign said $9.83.they went and checked came back and rangit up and the $9.84 price plus $3 off for price scan guarantee so brand new hanamog out the door for $7.42 made the trip looking for the avenger worth it
Could not think of anything to put here.

I bet they don't leave the 9.83 tag on the shelves anymore!
Should have said, "Excuse me why I scoop up the rest of these vehicles!"
Great deal for you, congrads!

My closest Wally, in Perth Amboy, NJ, keeps increasing the stock of 21C toys, in all classes. Every time I go in, more planes, vehicles and figures.
I am in hog heaven.

Some seems to be the same stock on the F-104's and Me-109G but more stuff keeps growing.

Just did a huge recon covering well over 80 miles and hitting 6 Wal Marts in the Fresno, Ca. area looking for Avengers. No results. This is all the more frustrating because the planes have been sighted well to the north and south of my AO and are all the way out in Texas.

However, among the many ME-109G and P-47 repaints, I did come across a very unusual aircraft assortment find at a south Fresno store: 2 "Flying Undertaker" retooled P-51s and 2 "Smoke II" F-104s. Further, the F-104s were in the special editioin "Marinefleiger" boxes

Now I know there will be some disbelief, especially for the $40 "Smoke IIs," but I know my XD planes and I know what I saw. (I already own a Flying Undertaker P-51 and a German F-104 - and the German F-104 doesn't have green & brown cammo and say Smoke II on the nose ) The boxes were new and factory sealed. So, you may want to keep and eye out for these!

Yes. They have been found in odd areas of the stores, but then others have found them in the toy section. Wal Mart stocking is never completely uniform whether the stores be in two different states, or even in the same town. I looked all around the adjoining sections to the toy areas in the Wal Marts I visited in my area and nada.
