I think this one can move to the never gonna happen file gents. I was really excited though. Kind of a shame even a shred of 1/18 hope sends us into fits.

Toyfair is less than 2 months away. If any of the companies can post here and state "yes or not" to whether or not they are making the Tomcat, then we will have a better idea of who is actually making this.
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:
F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

I think this 1/18 tomcat is really a 1/32 bird after looking at the pictures...
or the pictures got mixed up
also cause the price the size don't match.

the pictures on the manufacturers website are animated check them out a bit...check out the cockpit and compare it with the the the picture that started the 1/18 tomcat out in the first place..the colors are different but the mold of the ejection set and the landing gear .......well take a look for yourself
and the picture that started the 1/18th F-14.

If this thing is even planned for US release, ToyFair would be the place that it would most likely be announced at. We have 1 month + a few days and counting....He said maybe the upcoming toy fair may have something on it.

Here's some news I found on the 1/18 F-14 after digging around.
I know someone that had agents at the China Toy Fair and this is what I was told their agents found out. This new manufacturer is quite secretive. They have a generic email address (which I don't have) and could not provide the facility's name where their products are being produced. They did however say that they were going to produce an F-15, F-14 and F-18 in 1/18 scale. They also gave no specifics on moving parts, quality, etc. However, they were interested in expanding their development with one of the US manufacturers.
If all this holds true, sounds like this scale ain't dead... Just wonder why they are going to do an F-18 when bbi still has the capability to put their's back out on the market?
Anyhow, my hopes we will see a 1/18 A-10 someday have been greatly raised upon hearing this news....
