your correct, digger, someone said they saw a petie II, I believe.
I wonder if walmart is going to be getting any more 1/32nd planes in; only the playsets with the long toms and kings tigers, etc have shown intermittently. If the TRUs are starting off with newer schemes, then I might need to go to BCA or other members for tarheel p-47, russian and desert 109s, etc.

I dropped by the Cary TRU today. Only 2 each of the DAK figures remained, no others. They've added 3 German halftracks with the PAK 40.

Ok the Pak40halftrack is $29.99 at the TRU in Morrow GA - and the LAV is 24.99 at target - I really hope the haltracks show up at WM.

for anyone that missed it: the new quad .50 trailer has been found at TRU. There's a long list of posts about it in the BBI sticky.

It is a bit pricey but I want the M17 Trailer nonetheless. Will do some snooping around next week.

Well at least it comes with a figure. I really didn't like 21st's trend of realesing vehicles w/o figures, I mean would you airplane guys buy plane w/o a pilot? And $30.00 is a bit much, this is low interest item I wonder if it will go to WM... seems like WM hasn't been getting anything new lately...

i guess the figure is to make up for the relatively dimunitive size of the piece at the price point......which it kinda does.

The trailer is kinda cool i guess....i found some neat pictures of these trailers set up around the Bridge at Remagen to fend off the slew of german air attacks trying to knock it down. That made the trailer a bit more appealing.

It'll take more than one figure to justify the $30 asking price.

A good friend of mine is visiting New York right now, and I've asked him if he could buy some german D-Day soldiers for me or the new PAK 40 halftrack. But so far he had no luck. Any New Yorkers here that could give us a tip? Or are they impossible to find in New York right now?

I saw the Pak 40 halftrack at Times Square TRU a bunch of times in the last few weeks - but when I was there Saturday they had no 21st at all. I scored a few Ottos there once but usually it was just the DAK guys left. From the amount of 21st small scale the had - 1/144, 1/32, etc - I wouldn't be surprised if it were clearanced to have it all gone so fast. That is one TRU that has no storage so they will clearance anything to make the display work. It is the one place where I saw F-18s on sale for $30 right when they came out..

Thanks digger! Thats very helpful. My friend didn't spend much time searching for those new figs when he visited the Broadway TRU. He just asked an employee if they have any XD figs and left the store after he got a clear no for an answer. That was stupid. Do you know the Bronx TRU? Could this maybe be the better adress?

He is quite the friend if he is willing to go up there for you...really he should use the item # (or you can - call free 800 Toys R Us) and ask them to search stores in the surrounding area which will inlcude Brooklyn, Queens and NJ. However remember that there is only 1 D-day figure at Toys R Us and it is Otto so he is likely gone anywhere you go, but that is a good way to find the hanomag.
I will send you a PM...

Just left an Otto at the Times Square TRU if anybody wants it. Didn't see much else 21C except the 1:6 weapons.

They had a TON of FOV, including a white 1:72 Hurricane and really nice 1:72 figs. If I ever bail on 1:18 I may go all the way down to 1:72 - some really nice stuff showing up in that scale.

MandaloreSC, if your friend is still in the N.Y. area and still looking for the Pak 40 hano and D-day Germans at Toy R Us give him/her these numbers............
899628 1:18th figures
899671 1:18th vehicles (Pak 40 Hano)
Not all TRU carry these products. Out here on Long Island there are plenty of Pak 40 Hano's the figures are getting harder to find.

Went to a TRU that I usually don't visit and found about 4 1/32 firefly Shermans and the new US M59 -155mm “Long Tom” Cannon complete in boxes. I have seen the kit version and even the box playset at WM with figures but not just the M59.

Oh, I gave these numbers to my friend when you posted them, but I've forgotten to say thanks. Thanks very much, Normandy! My friend is in New York for another 2 weeks.

Were the US figures at TRU any different in deco or anything to the original WM release? I'd like more D-Day US figures, however the only thing at my TRU was Germans (D-Day and DAK). The US were long gone it seemed. Bummer because Wave 1 did NOT linger around Pittsburgh at all and then the 2nd wave came and sat. :(
