WOW - that's a steal and you rarely see the figs marked down. Maybe that explains that huge lot of figs that were on ebay.
I've said before I would hope people would post this type of recon when they see it...Good looking out Perry!
Head to WM boys..

Local Wal-mart(Bremerton WA) had one of the mutt's new.Plus the r.c m113's have been marked down to $15.00 I picked up the camo one. All the box's are well shelf worn I think there was about four rc ones left in tan. Also saw a red clearance tag that reads "panther $25.00"but had no panthers only reg m113's in the spot so go figure.
Could not think of anything to put here.

Was back in the Sprinfield Mo. area yesterday and found th 2 Ridgerunner Mustangs at the Walmart at HWY13 and 44. They also had 2 of the bubble top P47 still. Kind of surprises me taht I found the Ridgerunner, the new Corsair and the desert Stka's in Springfield area but less then 100 mile north in Metro KC can't find any of them .

Mack Perry, thats great news... what part of Fla was that? I was just down in N. Fla. and got home last night. Monday AM after taking my brother to the airport (JAX) I found a NEW walmart on Duval Rd just east of I-95.
They had a good selection from 21st.... 1/144th armor, New to Me was the 1/48th stuff Kubelwagons, Schimwagons and US 3/4 ton dodge all having fantastic detail. 1/32nd aircraft and armor (the most I've seen in one walmart) and play sets North Africa 'Ready Line' and Kasserine Pass 'First Encounter'. As for XD :? a few Me-109G Seeman and F-104G West German. Oh and about 2 dozen figures IJM's and Market Garden.
All at full price............................. 8)

The Coral Springs Walmart just off 441 has the Halftrack and Mutt re-release.

Hey Mack! Which store is discounting all that stuff?

Actually, the last items I picked up out that way was maybe some OMG figures. Maybe a couple of Sahara figures. I may have bought a vehicle or two as well.

Since I stick primarily to North Africa for my XD, the most recent crop doesn't have a lot to offer. The newest vehicles I bought were a couple of M48s. One from the Atlantic Blvd Walmart in Pompano Beach, and the other from the 441 Coral Springs Walmart. I only bought those because I was jonesing for an XD fix. lol

Until the M16, PaK 40s, and DAK figures come out, you won't have much competition from me.

Oh, the Atlantic Blvd Pompano Beach Walmart restocked the Desert Stukas and Corsairs. 2 each on the shelf last night.

That's one of the figures from the Viet Nam line that sold at TRU about 5 years ago. They can be hard to find and will go for alot more than most other XD figures on Ebay. I remember when they were gathering dust all over the shelves at my local TRUs... I should have bought alot more than I did, but at the time I really wasn't into figures...

The M48? I haven't seen any more yet. I'll definitely keep an eye out. The fact that the Atlantic Pompano Walmart restocked Stukas and Corsairs is a good sign.
It seems as though local managers have the foresight to restock stuff that sells quickly. Where they fail is ordering 10 more instead of say 2 or 4. You've seen the glut of German F-104s and Bf-109Gs yourself. I'd be more frustrated except for the fact that they're still making a point of ordering XD.

Finally saw one M48 at my WM... also had 2 109 G6's, 2 RC M113's, a mix of figures... BOB S2's, a couple japanese, and saharas mixed in...
lots of the little stuff too... 1/32 machi's figure sets and whatnots... I had my glasses on or I would have missed the tiny (1/144) stuff

In Central New Jersey, W.M. has the Tow Jeep, SEAL Jeep, U.S. and German repainted halftracks (HAD), some Japanese, BOTB II(HAD), R/C M113, German F-104 and a bunch of Me-109s. It also looks like the toy section is getting refurbished. This is the best selection yet in my A.O. :D

something to consider, at least the serious Matchbox guys do is:

Walmarts usually do a major store reset prior to September. Could be some stores are going to wait until that is completed before totally restocking with new stuff.
