Maybe Ron's got a coat thing  Glad this one comes with a hand to hold the gun. Wish they all had this (even better, one for each set of arms). Very nice. Can't wait until the DAK guys though.

I'm really liking these new German figures, and will probably get a bunch! The black coat could work well in making some sort of a German tanker

The other thing I noticed is none of the German figures come with pre-posed arms like the US one do so far. I wonder if that is how all are going to be? Great to great some good army builders though.

Todays german trooper is looking better then the officer yesterday. I like the new headsculpt and the fact that he has more assesories. I'm still not sure about these short coats(?). I'm really looking forward to the release date of these new figures, but maybe it's still to early to judge about the figures. Maybe I should wait for the final sale versions before I critizise any details. But it seems the US troopers need to have lots of equipment to be interesting for the fans, while the german soldiers seem to be a strong seller without that.

My favorite figure of this wave so far is the D-Day german Infantry. He has enough equipment (2 helmets, cool!), his articulation and sculpting is cool and his pose looks very natural. Also I see some improvements on him, while most of the other figures seem to be updated 1 Wave "characters". Monday we saw a US Paratrooper (but a pretty ugly one :( ), so I hope we will see a german Fallschirmjäger in the coming days.

I think each figure they've shown so far has been better than the last.

my hunch is that they are going to show the Afrika Korps last, and that these are going to be neat new and different
I'm with you mandalore, I'd love to see some more Fallschirmjager

I hope to see something different in the line of German weapons that they haven't offered before. Sniper rifles come to mind like the K98 and G41/43 versions. Would be cool to have a MG34 or MG42 on tri-pod field carriage vs the AA tri-pod we got already or even a Panzerbuchse 39 anti-tank rifle. Even a 50mm Granatwerfer 36 Morar would be awesome too. Here is to hoping.

Nice array of accesories. Radio, two pouches, three sets of arms, the jerry can - very nice. But not overly fond of the head.

Interesting question on the articulated shoulders - if you're using the fixed position arms, do the ones with the articulated shoulders work with older figures. That could be very cool.

I know I'll be picking these guys as I find them, but nothing that I'm getting really, really excited about. We've seen ETO often, and we've seen paratroopers. Hoping I get a little more "stoked" when the DAK guys show.

Being a driver, are we going to be able to get something for him to drive??? the glasses make him look funny.

Maybe these are preproduction models, but the weapons are looking more "toyish" than the original S1 weapons and Dragon's weapons. The M1A1 with the driver figure really shows this quality.

TKO-
Will things change any with these figures and equipment before we see them in stores this Christmas??

What do you guys think?

Agree on the head of the driver. Looks like they went for Radar O'Reily and got Goggles O'Grady.

Also on the weapons, way to many rifles. Perhaps the MG's and assault weapons are toward the back of the line so wait and see.

I would freak out if they released even one weapons or accessories pack like they do for the 1/6th crowd. Helmets, head sculpts, radios, MG's, small arms, anything... :D

The figures shown are pre-production paint samples. So what does this mean? It means that from a paint perspective the quality and color should improve for the final release. Aso for the molds or shape of the plastic... what you see is pretty much what you should expect to get.

All the accessories that have been shown are what will come with each figure. The majority of these figures are indeed ETO American & German subjects. The Japanese and Marine subjects have been covered recently.

Hope that helps answer any questions.
