In fact an employee of Admiral Toys personally drove to the post office to drop off the USPS orders before they closed for the Holiday. You almost did not receive your model until later this week.
It is this kind of commitment and customer service that AT demonstrates that puts them far ahead of other manufactures in this market space!
Quality Product + Great Customer Service = Superior Manufacture Rating

I got my 2 Me-262's!!!! Yay!! Check out pictures of it on my Webshots account.

Well done, period! The pilot was, well, mmmmmm....

Oh as I was saying, the 262 exceeds all my expectations. It's got a top notch paint job and excellent detailing. Swastickas were included, so thanks Admiral for that last bit of detail. I am really, really impressed!!

I am well chuffed right now!! :D

A couple tips. The plugs are angled, so make sure you have them installed correctly. I accidentally installed one in the wrong side and couldn't get it out. Drats!

The only issue with the plane was that the nose landing gear support rod was jammed (see photo), but I was able to pop it into position and the damage to the "cup" was minimal.

I REALLY love how Admiral packs their stuff. The plastic "coccoon" is absolutely brilliant. It kept the plane spotless and there were no twisties. Gotta love that!

This is a highly recommended plane.

BOSS HOGG wrote:CHECK 6!! My Me 262 arrived today and it is GORGEOUS! This is a top notch model without a doubt and they did a marvelous job at Admiral Toys. I feel for you guys that did not get your order in fast enough.

Came with the round antennae on the top and a long antennae mounted under the wing pointing down next to one of the main gear. Also comes with a set of swastika's for that added non pc business.

Only one complaint.....that pilot still looks like a kids toy in a top notch model. And that isn't really a feature to concern yourself about.

Thanks Admiral, great job!!
Good news on the swastika's. While I defiantly consider it to now be the ultimate symble of everything worth fighting against (it took hitler to do that, prior it was considered a good thing), I also desire to remember history has it was.

Looking at Teamski's photos, I must say it looks great!
The paint is beautiful!

But I will wait and see what 21st Century will offer

My 262 can this afternoon. What a beautiful paint job. I also like the antenna system, nice touch. I don't have it assembled yet, but it will hang from the ceiling in formation with my Graf 109.

ME 262 has arrived. Plastic is heavy and sturdy feeling. It looks so good in the box once the tissue is removed, I really don't want to unpack it ...yet. So far (still packed) it has a chance to break into my top 5 1:18 aircraft. That would mean 1 Admiral, 2 bbi and 2 21st Century. Avenger is still #1.
Well done Admiral, well done indeed.
Ahhhh...Do you have the grapes to make a "Mossie"?

The pilots head is a bit on the tall side and he will not fit properly in the cockpit, so I removed his flight helmet and trimmed it down a bit just above his eyebrows. I then superglued the helmet back on, problem fixed, I then added some gloved hands from one of my bbi hornet Pilots hands and panted them black , his original hands looked a little small. I then gave his gray uniform a coat of light gray ghost.
Over all I improved the appearance of the pilot.

BOSS HOGG wrote:VMF115, I heard a rattling around in my empty box and looked deep down in there and lo and behold was a 3 inch long rubber piece that looked like a bent pitot tube. It is painted the color of the belly of the jet so I looked for the correct shaped hole in the belly and just behind the right main gear is an l shaped hole. The antennae fit in there.

Don't lose that antennae!

 I didn't notice it missing!! I gotta check now...

I was careful to open the box and I always take an inventory of all the items, I did not see any antennae. And I have not thrown anything out.

I just checked it again, and I found nothing I can however see that it was supposed to be under one of the horizontal stabilizers, I even checked the area I took it out inspected then assembled it. No luck

It still looks good with out it :D

Any one know what the exact brown color is on the AT me-262.
