As you know, via phone, count me in for each of the three options and two of the most common. Rock on Pic!

Re: 1/18 Tiger II Prototype Done !!
All of the wheel moulds are made .
Things left to do to start production.
- Finish tow shackle
-Finish track moulds
-Make moulds for tow hooks
I think that is it.
Hopefully I will get this all done this weekend. Because next week looks to be a slow week at my regular job so the resin will be flowing !!
Normandy those pics look great !!!

Re: 1/18 Tiger II Prototype Done !!
Things are progressing slowly but surely.
I have all of the upper hull bodies made.
I am still not done with the individual track moulds.
These moulds and the track links are proving to be problematic.
The connector links are coming out fine. The toothed/ tread links are the troublesome ones
There is such a tiny amount of rubber that can go in and around the pin . So when I pull the moulds apart that tiny piece of rubber tears out. Making the next pour almost semi solid not allowing the connecting track to interlock with it.
60 seconds with a Dremel takes care of this with ease.
I have made the top track link longer . By doing this it cuts out about 13 more links on one side.
By doing that it will also cut down on the individual link count by 600 pieces.
Now I need to make a form so when I pull those long lengths out of the mould they need to be formed into the long J as per the originals.
It still looks great while having the single links going around the main drive and rear idler.

This is the track link of which I am having issues.
Also check out the top of the track. The elongated J will be made in one piece .

Looks great!
I love these pics as I love to look through the backgrounds and try to identify all the 1/18 stuff piled on each-other I also see lots of Horton parts still hanging around

Re: 1/18 Tiger II Prototype Done - Production Started !! !
Almost ready to go out and pour more parts this morning.
After my second cup of coffee.
There are thousands of parts for me to pour. Mostly wheels and tracks .
I finally worked out the gun barrel mount , it is similar to my Panther II barrel mount .
Simple and effective.
So ALL of the engineering and mould work is done and all that is left to do is pour , pour , pour .

I have been busy making many many parts.
Over this long weekend I will do my best to build a Tiger for another online building instructions similar to what I did for the Horten project.

Re: 1/18 Tiger II Prototype Done - Production Started !! !
Alright guys I really have not had any time to put on the K2 . I probably should have not done the " live auction " at this time and probably should have done that after the K2 but ......
The live auction did kill about 3-4 days that I otherwise could have put on the Tiger project
Anyway I do have all of the hulls , turrets and half of the wheels poured. As well as a few other parts.
Real work has been kicking and I will probably work through till next week.
Next week we will be flying out to Los Angeles for my son's graduation !!
We will be leaving next Thursday and will be coming back on May 20.
I have already made plans for one of my buds to come over so we can get together and get the K2 kits out to you guys.
Between now and then I should be able to wrap up the directions so you guys will have that ready for when you recieve the kits.
How do the directions look so far ?
Any gray areas for you guys ?

All right guys. Obviously I did not get the chance to finish the directions.
We will be shoving off tomorrow morning and will be gone for 2 weeks .
We are going to Cali for my son's graduation.
Thank you all for your patience and as soon as I get back the Tiger will be priority # 1
Thanks to all you well wishers.

Have a god trip and enjoy the graduation,
I'll need at least two weeks to make room on my workbench for a King Tiger build.
