Jnewboy, looks like the He 162 Salamander ended up at the same Smithsonian facility as the 229. (I hadn't seen the 162 at first, but I did see the coke bottle to the left of the 229's nose wheel. :) ) Image

and suffered the same fate.
Now those Fw-190's......I wonder if they were some of the aircraft that were bulldozed?
