Dragon,
I saw the 30% off figures at the Sugarland Target (Hwy6 @ 59S). I haven't checked the two Targets close to me in Katy. What part of town are you in?

POKEYJTC:

I live near Bellaire, but I was at the Memorial Target on Saturday---same store where I bought my Abrams--it was the only one I could find with a slightly bent rack and 50 cal. machine gun and a few "clean" spots on the side weathering.
I love the desert Abrams.

Hit 3 Targets this morning. The first one had all BBi figures on sale. They also had Tigers and the new Apaches but at full price. The second one I went to had the BBi and the Fov figures on sale. The third didn't have any figures on sale. Talk about hit and miss  .

I visited one Target today and all the BBI figures were discounted by 30%. All the rest of the FOV and BBI items were at regular prices.

At Target in Dallas the figures are marked down to 3.98. The only vehicles they had left were the apaches and they are now 20.98. There were also two FOV Bradley's with clearance stickers, but I figured this must have been a mistake.

The FoV prices weren't mistakes. They're being reported all over the country.

My understanding is that for many items Target clearances them not to eliminate them, but to move a bunch of quantity fast.

After a few days or a week or so, they bump them back up to regular price.

Great example is the Heroscape stuff and the POTC figures. They've clearanced those multiple times, but there they sit, today restocked and at full price.

The FoV stuff seems pretty safe though..

Down here in FL, I noted the BBI figures have gone on clearance as $3.48 for figures, $4.18 for the paratroopers. I grabbed all of the 2 guys I use for head transplants(has neck) and also a dozen of the modern FOV troops that were not on sale. When I got home another box of a dozen 21C Germans were waiting for transplants and assignment :P  Now what I need is a dozen Hugos or so to round out the battalion 8) I just have to figure out what to do with these modern guys that will have WWII heads until my offical autherization for posting sales date  I think someone is right that new product will soon be hitting the shelves and that may be FOV items as it appears(down here at least) that Target may be discontinuing the BBI figures and vehicles. I scanned a Bradley and it came up at $19.99. No idea if that's clearance or regular price?

Can someone post pictures of the shark mouth apache? I'd love to see it and upload them to the database.

Thanks! :D

Thanks for the heads up on the BBI figure clearance. I just cleaned out some of the local Targets; paratroopers for $4.18 and modern for $3.48 each. I am turning into a packrat when I add these in with the TRU $.70 figures!

STUKA:

You posted that you bought an LAV for full price and found the LAVs on sale a few days later, so you went back to Target and got the difference in price back.

What are Target's rules for getting the price difference back? I got my FOV Abrams at full price after Thanksgiving and they were $9 cheaper after Christmas. Is there a time limit on getting the price difference back?

I am thinking BBI has gone bye-bye-birdy from Target. All the Targets in my AO are now completely empty of BBI with no space for the shelves on them.

Boy, that didn't take long did it? I will miss it though...

what surprised me is that people are making "RETURNS" of some humvees.

so anyone who missed might get a chance at least, as some folks made a mistake, (still attached gift receipts), i guess.

OLIFANT:

I'm curious about Target and BBI. On Target.com, BBI figures aren't on sale, but the Donald Duck P-51 and Abrams tank are on sale. If Target is trying to get rid of BBI, I would think they would have all the BBI stuff on sale. If Target isn't dropping BBI, I hope they more F-16s in. I think BBI is phasing the F-16 Wolf Pack and Donald Duck out.

I am sure the store stocks and the online stocks are somewhat unrelated. After all, the figs are sold in 4-packs online, and the Mustang and F-16 were never in Target stores.
