Not sure if these stands are the same ones but there are some available on EBAY as well.

Thanks. But where in the heck is the pm button? I checked his profile and can't find anything to pm him with, is it because I'm a new member?

The teeny "PM" button is just next to the "Profile" button

Hmmm, it must be because I'm new and have a low post count because there are no PM buttons near any of the profiles on this thread. Plus, I checked my user control and it said I'm not allowed to check my pm's. I guess I have to post more?

Showoval;
Look at my latest post on the BBI for 400 thread. I described the lighted and smaller stands that I have from Pizza Guy. He makes quality stuff and is quite talented if you have any sort of variation you might be looking for.
The lighted ones are well worth the money. My wife let me put my F-18 and F-16 on the mantle den and puts on the lighted stands in the evening. Go gettum, you won't be sorry.

The new site is great. Sorry I've been absent. Wrapped up opening a new store and getting caught up on some projects around the house before winter hits. I've been working on some F16, F18 and F14 mini stands for JOC to allow the LG to stay in contact with the ground while keeping the weight off of them.

I'm also working on some covers for the Huey, Apache and F16.

If anyone's interested in these or any of my other stands or covers you can email me at: [email protected]

These Mini Stands will allow the AC to sit on the ground while taking the weight off the LG. The stands would normally be clear, but JOC did an upgrade with the vinyl decal and felt base. This is great if you want to display the AC and not worry about the LG buckling.

I just wanted to say thank you Pizzaguy. Got my stand before i got my F-14. Landing gear broken before I even got a chance to break it myself. I'm still able to display and get the gear issue taken care of later. Really cool and neccessary item if you own one of these large planes.

Second that:
I have one of my older 18's that sufferred from weight damage from sitting on the gear. Most of you know that potential problem with the mains on BBI's 18's and 16's. Well she is now sitting on Nathan's mini stand with LG down, and it's amazing how it is being held up by the stand but looks just like its on its LG. Even works with the 14, that is if gear is not already broken :( BBI's gear suffered from spreading out of the mains from the weight, but for anyone who wants to display their birds on their mains, these mini-stands are just what the doctor ordered.

P.S. I did not want to give up the option of gear up or gear down on my JSI 14, that why I opted out of the metal LG from SkyWorks. Now I seem to have the best of both worlds. Just have to be extra careful when I move the 14s mains.
