POST ALL 21st CENTURY WALMART FINDS HERE
There are some new news items that I will be pushing out through AREA-21 this week. I just wanted to give everyone here the heads up as it has been "all quiet on the western front" (yes, I know it is supposed to be Eastern front, but 21st is on the WEST COAST)
Anyway, There is some cool and exciting news coming! Just let me get through one more article for the new Ridge Runner P-51. I just received photos today and it is on my laundry list. So let me get that one put to bed. I just wanted to alert you guys to start checking in again!

xd
I called 21C last Monday morning and explained to them how I broke my Huey and told them which part I needed. (It's the silver piece that the props hook to, that snaps in on the top of the roof.) The new part was on my porch when I got home Friday. Thank you very much 21C. Kevin.

I've lived with mine broken for over a year...who knew that was an option? Serves me right for settling.kevrut wrote:I called 21C last Monday morning and explained to them how I broke my Huey and told them which part I needed. Found a cheap 21c Marinefleiger F-104G
Just had to share this: I stumbled across a little hobbyshop in my area today. While the main focus of the store was on model trains, the owner also had a few of the type of items we like to collect. He had a BBI Apache and a couple P-51s and Corsairs -- all being sold well over retail at $69.95. Then came the surprise. He had a lone 21c Marinefleiger F-104G hanging on the ceiling priced at $49.95!
It turns out this was one of the Comicon Special Edition planes and it was all intact and in mint shape. I hadn't seen this version of the F-104 in person and immediately fell for it. I know these are gathering dust at some Wal Marts in the east, but they haven't shown here in the west, and it was nice to get a plane for $20 less than what I would pay at an online retailer. It also felt good to help out a fledgling local business
