An Observation

Wow guys! A great thread to say the least.

The F-86 is a beaut and I'm defenitely in line for one or more.

After reading some of the comments made about the French Mirage/Kfir deal, I'd like to say that we as Americans tend to be somewhat arrogant when it comes to the world of aviation.

Yes, we're and have been pioneers in the field (perhaps the greatest), but we don't have to go around kicking others in the pants. Their efforts and their histories lso count.

I for one, would love to see a Mirage! I'd paint it in Colombian Air Force (FAC) colors because that's where I'm from. Colombia has been at the vanguard of aviation history in several fronts, but I'm reasonably sure very few of us knew that.

My grandfather was one of the five founders of the FAC (Colombian Air Force), traveled to Germany to acquire J-52s for the government, at the time fighting a war with Peru, and actually developed the entire pilot training for these original brave pilots. Colombia also prides itself in having the second oldest airline in the world (Avianca), and it could be said with certainty that Colombia went from the mule to the airplane age while skipping everything else.

I've read that per capita, no other people in the world travel on airplanes more than colombians.

So lets be nice guys, as the French have also made great contributions to aviation history.

With best intentions, your friend and fellow American collector...Eddie

They have had that logo for some time now. I don't think that plane will ever be made in 1:18 so don't get your hopes up. They are not saying Januarary anymore for the F-86 I noticed though. They are now saying Q1.

The best way to find out where they're going to sell their stuff is to email them and ask them.
Not so apparently. Sent them an email last week just asking about where the line might be available and they ignored it. :? I guess we will find out when someplace puts one up for pre-order.

Did they get rid of their price quote? I did not see it on the website. :?
